Walking in nature has many proven health benefits…

- Reduction in stress, anxiety and depression
- Boosting happy endorphins in the brain
- Getting the body moving improves circulation
- Walking with a group helps you meet new people

Fibromyalgia is majorly fuelled by stress anxiety, overwhelm and depression. Social isolation associated with this condition and an inability to move the body without worrying if it’s ’too much’ are also huge detrimental factors. Walking with a group who completely understand your limitations, will put your mind at ease. As a collective community of fibro friends we know the limits you face, so no worries or stress. Even a 10 minute walk helps to calm the nervous system (which is what goes haywire during a flare up) We will not be walking for the full hour. Plenty of rests to reset the body.

Join us on Saturday 30th May for our Nature Walk in Saltwell Park (the quieter side) near the stream.
11am- 12pm

Step into the Soulful Series—mini canvases inspired by nature’s whispers. Join us on serene walks, mindful talks, and art that grounds your spirit.

Beginning on Saturday 30th May with our Spring inspired canvas. Join us for a walk in nature prior to our meet up. Fur babies optional 🐕

Saturday, May 30th, at 11 a.m. for a gentle wander at Saltwell Park. We all live with fibromyalgia—so walk as far or as little as you like, for as long as it feels right. Let’s move with ease and be kind to ourselves.

Springwell Village 1940s weekend coming along again soon, if anyone is interested?

It’s a brilliant day out! We’ve been the past 3 years and it never ceases to amaze. Full village transformed back to yesteryear… the simple togetherness times.

Our dog show returns in 2026 ! Take Away The Tears and Springwell Village Community Venue host a fabulous day of four legged fun! Come along and join in, watch or cheer your favourite pooch 🐕🦮🐕‍🦺🐩🐶
