**WEIGHT LOSS MEDICATIONS**

You may have seen in the news recently that GP practices can now prescribe Mounjaro for weight loss.

Please note the local prescribing guidelines for Mounjaro in our area have not yet been finalised.

We do know that ONLY the following group of people will be eligible during the FIRST YEAR. These are nationally set criteria and we will not be able to change these or deviate from the criteria.

Please do not arrange an appointment to ask for Mounjaro for weight loss at the moment as we are not prescribing it until the final guidelines have been agreed.
