What a wonderful day it has been attending the Hot & Cold Stone Massage course with Gateway Workshops, with couple of my Westerns school classmates too!
It’s such a soothing experience, and I'm truly amazed by the numerous benefits it offers. Not only does it promote relaxation, but it can also boost metabolism, enhance respiratory rates, and increase the number of red and white blood cells, which can strengthen our immune system. Additionally, it helps reduce blood pressure, stress, fatigue, and tension—something we all could use in our lives!

I'm thinking about obtaining my own set of stones and incorporating this service into my practice. Who else is feeling tempted to indulge in a hot and cold stone massage? 🤩

Hi lovely clients, I have returned from a trip today, I will be resuming available from tomorrow, but I would like to inform you that I will be taking a two-week break from 26th July and will be back to my regular availability after 9th August. Looking forward seeing you then ❤️

One of the best massage schools you can learn from 😍. I’m proud to call myself a graduate of the Western School of Massage and can’t wait for the Remedial & Sport Course starting in October 🤩!

There are many providers popping up, offering ‘quick fix’ online courses which can be completed in as little as 2 days…

Upon completion…
Will you be a competent therapist? No.
Will you be confident in your knowledge & practise? No.
Will you be able to treat clients to a high standard that they will return and/or recommend you to others? No.

At western school, you’ll finish with all of this and more.
You’ll have made friends, built a business plan, have clear aims for your future and have a widely recognised qualification which allows you to go on to further studies should you wish.

Online courses may seem like the easiest way to qualify, but they are without a doubt, NOT the most effective.

What a truly meaningful experience I had during my very first massage shift at Cateran Yomp 2025. This remarkable event not only supports our brave soldiers but also brings together individuals from all corners of the world to walk 22, 36, or even 54 miles in solidarity. It’s heartwarming to witness such dedication and compassion for those who serve.

I had the pleasure of meeting some wonderful massage therapists, and I look forward to the possibility of connecting with them again in the future. To all the participants—your strength and perseverance are inspiring. You should be immensely proud of yourselves for taking on this challenge! 👍

It’s official! That's the final exam done, and I want to extend my heartfelt congratulations to all my classmates on this significant milestone with our Diploma in Swedish massage. This past 9 months of studying muscles and the body systems has truly been a journey of growth. While this chapter has come to a close, I’m looking forward to diving into the Remedial and Sports Massage course with the wonderful tutors at Western School this October. I can hardly contain my excitement!

I want to take a moment to express my deep gratitude to our amazing tutors for guiding us through this incredible experience. I can’t wait to do this again in October!

1. We are one of the only schools in Scotland to provide University credit rated courses at SCQF levels 7&8
2. We have lecturers who have worked with some of the highest performing athletes; premiership football clubs and rugby teams in Scotland.
3. Our courses are 2/3 written, 1/3 practical - providing our students with plenty hands on experience before qualifying with confidence to go out and treat paying clients.
