On 30th November, our dedicated social care members actively participated in the National Care Service Forum in Glasgow—an essential gathering for stakeholders, individuals receiving social care support, and care staff to voice their perspectives.

While the event aimed to provide a platform for diverse voices, it was evident that there was a noticeable lack of representation of social care staff on the panel.

Our team, with their firsthand experience, was eager to contribute insights crucial to the discourse. We emphasise the importance of including the perspectives of those directly involved in social care on such panels for a comprehensive and inclusive dialogue.
