Our ride from Glasgow Green will go ahead but will be a shorter ride.

Our Bike Skills session and Beginners ride from Victoria Park will not ho ahead, but there will be a winter walk instead, meeting at the VP hub at 10am.

Only travel if it is safe for you to do so.

Wrap up warm, it's cold out there. Use plenty of layers rather than one thick layer so you can adjust them. Buffs are good and can be worn around your neck or as a thin layer under your helmet. And, don't forget your gloves!

Our activities are due to start back on Tuesday 6th January. It's a new year so we have listed new events on Plinth. You will find them on our website. (If you had saved a shortcut, you will need to update it)

Please sign up to rides in advance if you can as it helps us manage numbers and have the appropriate number of ride leaders and volunteers present. It can also impact on destinations for the rides - theres a big difference between planning a coffee stop for 4 people signed up then actually having 16 people show up on the day.

We have a variety of skills sessions and lessons on Tuesday and Saturday mornings for both adults and children (please book in), and if you just want to try a bike, come down to our hub at Glasgow Green on a Wednesday and Thursday.

Our adapted bike sessions will continue on Wednesday and Thursday mornings at Glasgow Green, and by appointment at Victoria Park on Wednesday mornings. Feel free to stop by for a chat to find out more about our trikes and companion cycles.

Our Maryhill rides will return on Monday 12th January.

We are still closed for Christmas until Tuesday 6th January 2026, and will not have a New Years Day ride tomorrow (sorry, our team are having a well earned rest!!)

But if the weather is favourable for cycling you should get out for a cycle and see who else is out and about on New Years Day!

As we wrap up another amazing year in the saddle, we just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who joined us on our final rides of the season, even with the chill in the air and a bit of Glasgow drizzle!

From led rides through the city, winter bike skills to our Saturday sessions your energy, smiles, and spirit have kept us going strong right up to the very end.

🌟 We’re incredibly proud to be one of the few organisations that keep cycling activities running year-round, and it’s only possible because of this amazing community.

We’re taking a short festive break and will return Tuesday 6 January - ready for another year of inclusive, accessible, and joy-filled cycling.

As 2025 winds down, we want to say a huge thank you to everyone who’s cycled with us, supported us, donated, volunteered, or cheered us on this year. You’ve helped us grow a more inclusive, joyful cycling community across Glasgow.

Cold weather? Rainy skies? That didn’t stop this amazing group of 12 riders from showing up strong on our latest ride! 💪

Here are a few of our go-to tips for winter cycling:
✔️ Layer up with breathable, weatherproof clothing
✔️ Lights front and back - visibility is everything
✔️ Lower your tyre pressure slightly for better grip
✔️ Hydrate - even when it’s chilly out!

Winter riding is more than just cycling - it’s about community, resilience, and the warm feeling of doing something good for yourself (and with others). 💛

🚲✨ Ride Round-Up! ✨🚲

As we head into the festive season, our rides have been heading all over Glasgow - river routes, “journeys here and there,” and a few surprise detours thanks to the unpredictable weather. 🌧️☀️ But no matter the forecast, you all showed up - so many familiar faces and a few new ones too.

From Saturday spins by the water to rides under city lights, it’s been a joy to ride together, share stories, laughs, and some very Scottish winter breezes. ❄️💛

Thank you to everyone who came out - whether it was your first time or you’re a regular. You turned wild weather into warm company, and ordinary rides into community moments.
