Welcome to Sparks Film School Glasgow South. We’re passionate about potential.

Since we launched in Glasgow in summer of 2023, more than 100 children and teens have joined us for filmmaking camps and classes. We offer filmmaking (and now animation!) holiday camps and Saturday filmmaking during the school term.

Looking for a creative Easter holiday activity for your child? 🎥

Our Operation Heist Filmmaking & Animation Camp gives young creators the chance to work together to produce an exciting action thriller inspired by films like The Dark Knight, The Italian Job, Enola Holmes, and Ocean’s 8.

Throughout the week they’ll build confidence, learn filmmaking skills, make new friends and create their own movie.

🎬✨ ON SET LAST SATURDAY ✨🎬

Last Saturday our young filmmakers turned their ideas into action! After weeks of developing stories and planning their scenes, it was finally time to step behind (and in front of) the camera 🎥

With costumes, props and cameras ready, the set was full of energy as everyone took on their roles — directors, actors, camera operators and more 🎬

It was amazing to watch their creativity come to life on screen 🍿💃

We can’t wait to share the films they created! 👀

Our young filmmakers are developing essential storytelling and technical skills 🎥📚 while exploring the art of cinema in a creative and supportive environment 🌈

Through hands-on experience, each student has the opportunity to take on different roles — including directing 🎬, acting 🎭, camera operation and sound🎙️ — helping them build confidence, teamwork and creative thinking 💡✨
