🎬 A big congratulations to our young filmmakers behind “Backstab”!

Their film was awarded Runner-Up for Outstanding Cinematography at the Sparks Awards — a fantastic achievement and a proud moment for everyone involved. 👏

Despite the film’s dramatic title, Backstab was made in a spirit of support, teamwork, and lots of behind-the-scenes fun! 🎥✨

We’re so proud to see their confidence and skills grow — and this is just the beginning. Well done to our future filmmakers! 🌟

My son Dylan was deeply motivated about film making after this beautiful camp. He spent 5 days with wonderful mentors and peers and fully satisfied about the concept.
I strongly recommend Sparks camps and thank all the teachers and Mrs. Merrick for their support.

Fantastic summer camp, my daughter leapt out of bed early every morning because she was so excited about planning, acting, and filming the movie.
So well organised from being greeted on arrival, the group chat to see what they've been working on, to the show and certificates at the end. The kids got personalised feedback and were really empowered by the whole process. Would highly recommend.

I cannot thank the team enough for the joy and confidence this course gave my son! He really enjoyed the animation, and at the end of the week showcase, it was very clear how much each film and animation group had learned, and how each course stage progresses their knowledge. (I'm a teacher and was very impressed by the quality of teaching and scaffolding given to push everyone's experience, knowledge and enjoyment). More importantly though, the leaders of the small, very mixed-personality groups encouraged each child to be an individual and celebrate their creativity, capability and self-confidence - a rare thing in large-scale education settings, so this was incredibly valuable for my son!

I was initially concerned about signing up, having only found their advertisement online, but Audra was very reassuring on the telephone, and the classes are held on a college campus, with excellent, enthusiastic and all DSC (DBS) checked staff. My only complaint would be that it is little tricky to pinpoint the correct building on campus on the first day, so get there 10 mins early as you won't want your child to miss a single moment of this wonderful experience - worth every penny! I rarely write reviews, and I'm not affiliated in any way, I just wanted to shout about how fantastic this course was for our unconfident 11 year old! Thank you, THANK YOU Audra and team!
