🎄 12 days of health and wellbeing: Day 11

Body image is how you see yourself when you look in the mirror or when you picture yourself in your mind. It influences what you believe about your appearance and it’s linked to your self-esteem. It’s normal to worry about how you look sometimes, especially as you’re growing up, but having a negative body image can really affect your confidence.

A lot of the images we see on Social Media and TV have been edited and are unrealistic, but it can be really hard not to compare ourselves. Find information and support on body image, confidence and self-esteem on the Childline website – we’ve linked on of their articles in our bio section.
