Join us next Friday for a tour of Glasgow's top LGBTQ+ bars and clubs!

Together with GULGBTQ+ and GUOSTEM, we'll meet at 8pm on Friday 13th at the JMS before dividing into smaller groups for the bar crawl. Each group will have a team leader from one of our three societies. There will be an accessible route beginning at Delmonicas rather than Katie's Bar.

Just to note that some were turned away from clubs last year as YoungScot cards are often not accepted as valid ID, so please bring a (provisional) driver's license if possible!

This should be an amazing event! Please if you have clothes you’d like to donate all money raised is going to Trans Harm Reduction (plus you get a discounted ticket to Queerfest!)

Join the Glasgow Care of the Elderly Society, Pride in Healthcare and Dr Roisin McCormack for a discussion on LGBTQ+ Care of the Elderly.

Whilst there has recently been an increased awareness of LGBTQ+ health inequalities and attempts have been made to improve health in the younger LGBTQ+ population, limited focus is put on the importance of improving health for the elderly LGBTQ+ population and medical education continues to neglect the topic.

This discussion aims to bridge this gap and educate current and future healthcare professionals (and anyone interested!) on the specific healthcare needs of the elderly LGBTQIA+ population, the discrimination they may still face and the barriers that exist in accessing healthcare.
