There are some VERY special gluten free things at Celentano’s ✨✨✨ I went for their dexter beef home made pasta, a side of their home made bread and their yummy candied artichoke (!) cake, it was all delicious. If you have a wee occasion coming up or just fancy a lovely meal in the city centre please give this place a visit if you haven’t already! Ps house made no-groni was 👌

Hey everyone 👏 it's my first post in a long time but I had a few days break in Dundee recently and had to come and tell you about some great gluten free finds! had so many amazing gf options including these fish tacos and kimchi fried rice. Also found gf lager ON TAP at the Duke pub which has an awesome beer garden, finally did gf fish chips, I went for Arbroath smokie though - got to be done when you're in the East! Thank you to everyone on here who suggested these lovely places.

I absolutely love Dundee, such a great city for a couple of days, would recommend the nightclubbing exhibit on at the too, very fun 🤩

I love a farm shop! You nearly always come across some really nice gluten free finds.

The near Stirling did not disappoint! I picked up a traditional fruit cake which will be perfect with a cup of tea of new years day ✔️and some fancy pasta to make some nice dinners over the festive period. Great wee shop which also had a cafe, not sure about their Gf options though.

But the main event there at the moment is the christmas tree maze!! So much fun, I would highly recommend for a little christmas outing before tier 4 descends.

Name me a more christmassy cookie than the crinkle cookie! I mean they are snow covered... ❄️❄️❄️❄️

☃️This was a recipe adapted by using GF flour instead of normal flour and adding one quarter teaspoon of xanthum gum. You can also add a couple of teaspoons of instant coffee for an wee extra flavour boost!

🎄What cookies do you like to make at Christmas time? I'm looking for some baking inspiration. I'd like to make stollen if anyone has a good gf recipe let me know!

Attempted fudge that ended up as soft caramels that taste like toffee! Whatever they are, they are delicious.

I heated double cream, butter, golden syrup, Demerara sugar and salt over a low heat and let it cook at boiling for 12 mins. I let it cool in the pan for 15 mins, stirring a couple of times before transferring to a baking tray to set in the fridge for 3 hours.

While the caramels are nice I still want to make actual fudge! Anyone got a recipe I could try or tips on where I went wrong? Got a feeling my sugar was either too hot or cooked for too long, or both!

Double chocolate cupcakes because outdoor social distancing requires something to keep you going! Another recipe search 'triple chocolate cupcakes' on her site.

These are topped with the new Lindt salted caramel balls, my obsession continues with the launch of a new flavour...

Swipe along to see the ONE cupcake missing..... Me and fergie halved one when they came out the oven and now I realise we are actually one short for today so we will have to half one again - that's wee davey for you 😈

God help me I just made a gigantic cake and may well eat it all before the bake off final tonight.

This is Becky Excell Gluten Free red velvet cake, Becky your recipes really are the best! One has never failed me yet. Note the rubbish 'red' colour is because I used colour gel instead of paste, need to order myself some!

My dream GBBO 2020 final scenario: peter wins with an amazing gluten free show stopper...... 🥳

I made houmous today with yoghurt replacing the olive oil and what a revelation! So creamy and I suppose cheaper? One can of chickpeas, one garlic clove, juice of one lemon, half a table spoon tahini, three table spoons yoghurt, half TSP cumin and salt & pepper! 👌
Still loving the pitta breads 💕

Something a wee bit different for me this morning. Cooked brekkie vegan and gluten free style! Baked beans ( recipe), 'chorizo puppies' from M&S and scrambled tofu, which is just tofu, salt, pepper, turmeric and garlic powder. Really enjoyed this 💕

Dream coffee and cake situation = Pollok Park +

You'll find Toro on the corner of Haggs and Pollokshaws. Tons of their cakes are GF and the coffee is really good! This bakewell slice was absolutely delicious (but not a very healthy breakfast 🙊)

Hope you're all having a lovely weekend!
