Happy New Year!🥰

I offer massage on Friday afternoons at the Glasgow Osteopathic Centre on Battlefield road.

There are so many benefits to massage including reducing tension, improving circulation, reducing stress and cortisol levels and boosting your immune system!

I recently read a study which showed how a 60 min massage increases the white blood cell count by around 70 percent.

The relaxation you feel in your body after a massage also keeps you healthy in other ways

Look after yourself this January… or book an appointment for a loved one!🌷

Peggy is qualified in Swedish and Deep Tissue Massage from the Western School of Massage and The Glasgow School of Massage. She is also a physiotherapy student.
The treatment will begin with a consultation to establish what kind of treatment you are looking for and particular areas of tension or pain that you have.
Swedish Massage is known for its relaxation effects. Techniques such as effleurage, friction and kneading work to engage the parasympathetic nervous system which has countless physical benefits alongside feelings of reduced stress.
Deep Tissue Massage begins with warming up and relaxing the most superficial layers of muscles allowing the deeper underlying muscles, tendons and fascia to be worked into with a slower and stronger pressure and a range of techniques. It can be used as a complementary treatment of sports injuries and chronic pain; reducing tension and increasing range of motion.
