ANNOUNCEMENT!
Today marks the 1st anniversary of Golden Funeral Care.
We're extremely proud to announce that we have now moved to new premises in the heart of Lesmahagow at 6 Priory Road ML11 0AA.
And will officially open tomorrow Monday 2nd June 2025.
We will be holding an open day for people to visit and see our new premises and all staff will be on hand to answer any questions you may have. The open day date will be announced soon.

Dear friends

Warmest wishes to you all for a joyous 2025! As I reflect on the past year, I'm deeply grateful for the privilege of serving as a celebrant for many families throughout 2024.

To those who entrusted me with honouring their loved ones, I offer heartfelt thanks. Your trust allowed me to provide comfort during difficult times, and I'm humbled by the experience. Your stories, memories, and legacies inspired me profoundly and I am a better person for meeting you all.

I also extend sincere appreciation to funeral directors, crematoriums, churches, and cemetery staff for their guidance and support. Your collaboration ensured dignified farewell services.

In 2025, I aim to refine my skills to capture the essence of each individual's life, celebrating their unique journeys with compassion and sensitivity. To continue to adapt my services to encompass diverse beliefs, faiths, and circumstances.

Last year's experiences included:

> Supporting a remarkable and courageous lady who shared her life journey with me before passing, providing comfort and cherished memories for her family.

> Meeting families in their homes, listening to heartfelt stories, and helping them honor departed loved ones in the most fitting way possible.

> Conducting dual services, seamlessly transitioning from funeral parlors or crematoriums to cemetery committals.

> Collaborating with clergy who conducted church services for the deceased, and for me, having met the family, to then create and provide a fitting eulogy at the crematorium.

Thank you for trusting me with these sacred moments. I'm committed to continuing this vital work with empathy, respect, and dedication.

Often the Funeral Director will offer you a celebrant but you have the choice to request your own, and I would be honoured to be that one.

A massive thank you to the upcoming newlyweds, who after just 2 weeks of launching my website, have afforded me the honour of being their wedding celebrant.

Over the past few months I've had the honour of conducting final farewell ceremonies at various crematoriums and grave sides for families who have sadly lost a loved one.

If you would like me to be your independent Celebrant for a final farewell ceremony, simply contact me to confirm the date and then notify the Funeral Director that you would like myself to be the Celebrant and I will then visit your family and gain insight into the life of your loved one and create a tribute / eulogy that reflects their life, loves and achievements.

Receiving feedback like the below gives me great comfort to know I've played a small part in helping a family through a difficult time.
