Yesterday we said our final farewell to mum and although it was obviously a difficult day, so many of you made it a little easier. We truly appreciate each of you.
A special thanks to Liam at William Houghton Funeral Directors , Ingol. Liam, your kindness, advice, care and compassion helped us so much and we are grateful for everything you did to make mum's funeral service such a beautiful one. We honestly can't thank you and the rest of your staff enough.

Just want to say a huge thank you to everyone for their kind words about my wonderful mum. I will be with my family in Preston for the next few weeks and I won't be able to commit to any funeral services. I'd never leave you stranded though, Douglas Harvey Civil Celebrant and Vickie Harvey Celebrant & Funeral Singer have very kindly said that I can tag them in this post so if you need a wonderful Celebrant you can contact them 🩷

Just want to wish you all an extremely merry Christmas 🎄 Your kindness and support has given a family a little bit of breathing room, the chance for a mum to give herself a break from the guilt that grief brings when you have children to bring joy to at Christmas and you are trying to navigate both.
You, your staff and customers truly embrace the spirit of community. From the bottom of my heart and on behalf of A & her boys, thank you.

From my heart to your home, sending love for a peaceful Christmas. I say it during every service but I'll remind you tonight. Be as gentle with yourself and show yourself the same kindness as you do to others who are struggling or grieving.
Thanks to every Funeral professional who has been part of my journey this year, I appreciate you all.
Just a couple of special thanks. Vickie Harvey Celebrant & Funeral Singer for making an extremely difficult day a little bit easier and for the fantastic service you led honouring the woman we adored so much!!!
And huge thanks and love to Karen Acts of Dove . Each and every message you've sent during some of the hardest times has not only meant the world to me but to the dangerous ones too. Your constant thoughtfulness and love has kept me going.
My candle is lit not only to remember all those we love but also as a sign that I am always a safe, welcoming place.
