We recently completed our songwriting project written by the fantastic Headway North Lanarkshire members✏️

Headway provide vital support and services to those living with a brain injury - helping to rebuild confidence, independence and community connections👏🏻

Group songwriting in music therapy offers an opportunity to build a sense of belonging and teamwork. A finished song gives a lasting sense of achievement and makes sure that the impact of music therapy continues after the work we do together has concluded‼️

We are THRILLED to announce our new partnership, working with Ayrshire Cancer Support delivering music therapy services to the children and families they support💛

Music therapy can give voice to feelings that are sometimes difficult to express through words. We delivered our first sessions yesterday, and if they are anything to go by it’s going to be a great offering🎶

We recently had a fantastic visit with the folks at Team Jak Foundation. An incredible organisation who provide emotional support for children and young people with cancer and their families.

We had a great time learning about their music therapy services and getting a look at their dedicated, ‘music therapy’ pod - Awesome stuff!!
