This morning was our trial run for our second 'Come Dine with Us' event. Today our chefs were preparing Tomato & Basil soup with croutons, then spicy tomato meatballs and spaghetti. Going by the way our guys wolfed the food after it was prepared, I am guessing it went well!! Hopefully our guests on the 16th March will feel the same!

Well our first ever 'Come Dine with us' event went with a bang...or two yesterday. Despite having a power cut 30 minutes before service, everything was prepared and served on time for our lovely guests. The feedback that we received was extremely positive and service users delighted with their success! Very well done to all!!

Today we started our sessions with TCV (The Conservation Volunteers). We are supporting them to improve the woodland area around 'The Saltings' at Old Kilpatrick. Although it was a muddy damp start to the week, it was an enjoyable one, cutting back on old bushes and trees.

We have been delighted with the response to our offer of 'Come Dine with Us' event, although we have had to let down a few people who were just too late to gain a seat at the table. We have only space for one person on Monday 22nd June, as all other dates are now fully booked. Thank you to everyone that has supported us in this event!!
