Once in a Blue Moon
Full Moon in Aquarius

This is a special Full Moon; it’s the second Full Moon in a row in Aquarius, which makes it unusual. It’s also a Blue Moon.

Two Full Moons in the same sign means that that sign wants it’s message heard. Aquarius is about innovation, being unique, communication, community and collaboration, humanity and humanitarian pursuits. If you are one of the air signs (Aquarius, Libra, Gemini) then this is the ideal time for you to go ahead with those bold, audacious goals and plans you’ve been working on.

It’s time to stop being a loner and make the effort to get to know new people, expand your circle and your horizons as new opportunities of all kinds await.

It’s a time when we can see through those who are not being honourable or ethical and we, the people, are speaking up about it. The shift we are in is to elevate humanity despite all that is going on. As a global family we can no longer pretend it’s not happening, we have to face up to what is happening right in front of our eyes – and do something about it.

It’s a time to get out of your rut and start finding new ways of doing things – and this is also applicable on a world/global level.

The previous Full Moon in Aquarius would have shone light on something that needed your attention, what did you do about it?

- Is there something you still need to do?
- Is your life balanced – or is it all work and no play?
- Who or what do you need to break free from?
- Who or what do you need to let go of?
- How much attention are you giving to your closest relationships?

As Autumn draws nearer - here in the northern hemisphere - it’s time to prepare for the change of season. Cleaning, clutter clearing, habit clearing and clearing negativity from our minds. How do you represent yourself on social media? Do your profile pics reflect who you now are? Are your posts positive or negative – what do they reflect about you?

It’s a time to think about putting new practices into place in all areas of our lives, so that they are well embedded for the year ahead.

Full Moons shine light on what we need to see, to heal, to clear, to deal with. They are also the culmination of the previous four weeks that have been dominated by Aquarian Full Moon energy. We all have an opportunity to move on from whoever/whatever has been holding us back – including ourselves!

By the end of this transit, hopefully you have grown in confidence to be yourself and fearlessly show your uniqueness to the world. Do your best by the end of this transit, to put in place the new practices and habits, as they will be your strong foundation for the year ahead.

This special Full Moon is so positive, and as well as bringing illumination, it will bring Aha! moments of clarity, and show you the way to bring better balance to yourself and your life. The only thing to be careful of is to watch out for ego shadow reactions coming up, keep yourself in check, stay grounded and balanced.

This wonderful Full Moon will shine a light on what amazing things are possible for you in the future – if you have done the work. So don’t give up, even if you feel like you are wading through treacle at the moment, keep going, it will be worth it in the end. Focus on your goal and keep heading that way.

BLUE MOON Exercise

You will need a candle, matches, paper, and blue pen.

- Create a quiet space for yourself.
- Light a candle and focus on the flame for a couple of minutes.
- Now close your eyes and focus on your breathing, as you start to centre and ground yourself.

- On a sheet of paper draw a blue circle to represent the Blue Moon.
*Inside the circle is who/what you want to have in your life now and for your future.
*Outside the circle is who/what you do not want to have in your life or who/what you need to let go of.
(*this includes people, things, habits, beliefs etc).

- When you have finished, cup your hands carefully over the flame of the candle and ‘wash’ the light over your piece of paper.

- Sit and attune to Grandmother Moon and ask Her to bless your intentions as described on your sheet. You could also read it aloud to Her.

- Then focus on the flame again and send the beautiful light out to whoever/wherever in the world it is needed. Visualise it radiating out from the candle and reaching wherever it is needed.

- When you are finished blow the flame out carefully and use your hand to spiral the smoke upwards saying “Great Spirit/Universe, hear my prayers.”

This is a great Moon for new opportunities suddenly appearing, go for them! These opportunities could be do with personal relationships, an opportunity to go travelling, the dream home appearing, a chance to study something you have always wanted, a gift of abundance, etc. This Full Moon could be a real turning point. However, remember to give thanks and be generous with the blessings you receive.

Enjoy the magickal energies of this beneficent and positive Blue Moon!

NEW MOON Blessings!
Manifestation – New Beginnings – Abundance
New Moon in Leo / Lion Gate

Been feeling tired and a bit drained lately? Having a few wobbles? Finding it hard to focus? Not sleeping well? It’s all to do with the current energies.

Well what a powerful New Moon this is, happening at the peak of Lion Gate. The Lion Gate occurs annually in August peaking on the 8th of the 8th month. It is also known as the Vortex of Sirius and when the Earth and Sirius are aligned, creates a portal that opens and floods our energy fields with powerful Star energy to elevate our hearts and vibrational energy to the next level. Take time to attune to the energies on the 8th, be open to receiving wisdom from ancient civilizations long gone. You don’t have to do anything complicated, just sit and be and let it happen. It will happen anyway as you go about your day, just try and keep a part of you attuned to being receptive.

If you are an HSP or sensitive, the waves of light codes coming in might make you feel a little dizzy or ungrounded. You may find the waves of energy draining and be surprised by your mood swings. Drink plenty of water, don’t overexert yourself and stay grounded, go for a walk in Nature and let yourself receive this blessing from the Cosmos. You may find your third eye being activated and opened more, ensure that you have your protection in place so that only good can come in. There’s a lot of cr*ppy energy out there at the moment and you don’t want to let any of that in.

The 8th August is so powerful this year and a wonderful opportunity to write your manifestation list for the year ahead. Be very clear and very specific, think big and don’t leave any details out. The energy of this New Moon/Lion Gate is powerful manifestation energy so be very careful what you wish for. And, being a New Moon, it gives you the opportunity to create something new for yourself.

- Write a plan of what you wish to manifest over the coming year.
- Then write action steps that you will take to make it happen.
- You could also create a large vision board too, with positive imagery.
- When complete (you can always add more later), tap it three times with your favourite pen or wand.
- Feel excited about it and make sure you look at it and tap it every day, and take action steps each week to manifest it. (When you start to take action, the Universe then swings into action to help you).

In Feng Shui and Numerology the number 8 is associated with wealth, combined with the New Moon and the Lion Gate, this is fantastic manifestation energy. It’s also very magickal as the number 8 also weaves past and present together.
On its side, the number 8 is known as the infinity symbol signalling that abundance is not limited. The infinity symbol shows us that we can manifest over and over, that the supply is not limited it goes on forever. All we have to do is decide what we want, take some action towards it and trust.

Well this is an awesome New Moon for all you Leos out there. This is going to turbocharge your life! This is the time for you to write a plan for the year ahead that you want. Ready for a new start? Then the 8th is the day to start planning it, as you have superb cosmic support to make it happen.

Astrologically August could be an intense and challenging month for everyone. There may be times when you feel as if you have been pushed to your limits. All this fiery Leo energy could cause temper flare-ups and arguments. Do your best not to ignite them or get ignited yourself. Save your energy, take plenty of deep breaths before reacting or just walk away from it. Remember to give thanks for everything, even the sh*tty stuff – it’s happening for a reason.

The Leo energy coming through gives us courage for what lies ahead. If you feel worried or stressed, tune into the strength of the White Lions, they are very special and have a beautiful energy that they can transmit to you. Swift manifestation can feel rough sometimes; rapid acceleration set by our intentions can be exciting yet terrifying at the same time. August will definitely be a rollercoaster ride for sure.

(1) If you are ready for the new, you have to let the old go before the New Moon. Use the Dark Nights of the Moon (3 nights before New Moon) to go inwards and do a writing ritual of what you want to let go of, and then burn it – safely. Leo/Lion fire energy will turn the past to ash.

(2) Make a note of your dreams during this transit, and don’t be surprised if you keep waking up during the night, write it all down.

(3) If something pops into your head during the day, write it down too, it will all make sense later on.

(4) Be open to new opportunities and create your own.

(5) Get out in the Sun that day and ground yourself in Nature, allowing your aura to soak up all the cosmic energies being bestowed upon us.

(6) Drink plenty of water to help with the fluctuations.

(7) Stand tall and proud and remember who you really are. Be proud of yourself, you are amazing.

(8) Light candles and fires celebrating Leo’s element. It’s a good time for fire magick of all kinds.

FULL MOON BLESSINGS!
Letting Go – Healing – Flying Your Unique Flag!
Full Moon in Aquarius

This is the first of two Full Moons in Aquarius in a row!

Full Moons are the culmination of what has occurred over the previous month. Have a look back and give yourself a pat on the back for what went well and give thanks for what didn’t.

It’s important to let go now, so that you have something different to report/look back on by the time of the next Full Moon. Don’t bring old stuff into the month ahead. It’s time to do some gardening on all levels, who or what are the weeds that need permanently removing now? You only want the best for your sacred garden, so get rid of who/what no longer fits your vision.

Full Moons bring emotions to the surface, so if you need to cry then let those tears out, our tears are our healing rain. The hot weather here in the UK could also lead to outbursts of emotion, remember to breathe and try not to overreact.

There’s a lot of lovely healing energy during this Full Moon transit, attune to it and soak it up, it will help you to shift and make the decisions that you need to make. (And if you would like some help with that, I have some slots available for those wanting online Healing sessions, DM me FFI). Although it’s a Full Moon, with the healing energy available it feels like a rebirth for many. Techniques you can use to help yourself are cleansing rituals with water and air.

Be open to the changes that are occurring and that will continue to occur for you personally. We are in the middle of a big shift on all levels. The Lion energy of Leo month gives us the strength to do what we need to do, and reminds us to stay as flexible as a lion’s mane blowing in the warm Summer winds.

Aquarius energy reminds us to be forward-looking visionaries and not lose sight of that. It reminds us that we are humanitarians. It reminds us not to hide our uniqueness, which others may perceive to be eccentricity or weirdness.
It reminds us to stop compromising and set proper boundaries in place or be prepared to walk away once and for all. Aquarius says “sod convention, I’m going to be me!”

And if someone presents an opportunity that seems random or out of your comfort zone – go for it! Don’t be afraid to try something new. Also be prepared for sudden shifts and about turns in your life, and trust the process.

Community and collaboration are the way forward for all of us, so surround yourself with like-minded souls who honour your uniqueness and truly appreciate you. And if anyone doesn’t like it, let go of them and bless them on their way.
You will soon see clearly who can and can’t remain in your sacred circle, because this is your time to live and be who you truly are. And don’t worry about being lonely; you’ve just created space for new, lovely people to enter your life! And quit beating yourself up about whoever or whatever, drop it/them and move on, operate at a higher level at all times even when the going gets tough.

Have you been feeling trapped in any area of your life? Aquarius helps us to step outside the box that we, or others, have put us in and dare to be revolutionary and change things. Fly your unique flag, out and proud. Because you truly are unique, and this world would be a lesser place without you.

These consecutive Full Moons in Aquarius are powerful and possibly life changing. They can also be challenging at times, so be prepared for that. All these changes are good, as they are guiding you to where you need to be. Things are speeding up and you need to be in the right place – on every level - for what is next.

Soak up the sparkling, healing energy of this Full Moon and make the most of it before the annual Lions Gate on 8th August (more on that nearer the time).

NEW MOON BLESSINGS
Feelings – Fun – Planting
New Moon in Cancer

This is a positive New Moon that invites us to launch something new or do something new. For some it’s time to let go of something or someone for a new beginning. Perhaps it’s time you started nurturing yourself more instead of giving so much to others.

Cancerians this is a wonderful New Moon for you, it signals a brand new beginning. Think wisely and carefully about the changes you want to make. Have the courage to launch something new. If you’ve been quietly working away on something then this is the perfect New Moon to launch it.

Cancerians are water signs who love their home. Tough on the outside but soft on the inside, they feel deeply. Cancer represents feelings, nurturing, home, family, sensitivity, moodiness (when they are lovely they are lovely, when they are horrid they can be truly horrible!), introversion (when they feel attacked or upset they retreat into their shell and stay there until they are ready to come out), mothering and caring for others (many are healers/therapists). They are fantastic company, usually very intelligent, make great parents and are fun friends to have around. They need freedom to express who they are and they like to do things their way.

Nurturing is essential for us all right now, is it time to get that fitness routine going? What can you do that makes you feel nurtured? Women are so busy looking after everyone else (including their businesses) that they often forget to look after themselves. Women are naturally nurturers, now it’s time to nurture yourself by putting your needs first for a while.

It has all been a bit full on since we started getting out and about more. Energy-wise it has been quite tiring for some. That’s why it is essential to nurture yourself over the coming days, to take some time out to reset your energy levels.

Cancerians also love their home; you may feel like refreshing your home and giving it a spruce up. We can get stuck in with our furnishings and sometimes a change of colour can make all the difference or a few new accent pieces.

This New Moon may make you feel a bit emotional, and that’s okay, far better to express your feelings than keep them inside, so if you need a cry then cry, if you need to sing at the top of your voice then do it. You get the drift.

Decisions that we make with this New Moon and seeds that we plant now may take until January’s Full Moon in Cancer to manifest. So think carefully about what you are planting now and what you would like to make manifest by January 2022. You’ve already made some decisions and probably in the past few days that you have been mulling over, now things will start falling into place and be much clearer regarding your way ahead.

Being busy and productive is all well and good, but you need to have fun too, Cancer is the sign of fun, so get out in the sunshine and have a good time. Be open to opportunities of all kinds as July will be an easier month for everyone.

Cancerians are Moon signs and this is always such a lovely New Moon energy that we can all enjoy. There is a sense of magick in the air and it’s a good one for spell casting and ritual.

It’s an ideal Moon for rituals and ceremonies involving water, it can be as simple as you taking time out for a good long wallow in a bubble bath. It can be swimming or visiting water such as lakes or the sea – ooh a paddle in the sea would be nice! Drink plenty of water and appreciate the preciousness of clean, safe water that we have easy access to.

The key to using this New Moon energy successful is to trust your feelings. When making decisions how does your body feel? Does your energy go up or down? And whatever you do, don’t stuff your feelings back down; get them out once and for all. Feel your way through this transit and all will be well for what comes next.

- It’s a time to allow feelings.
- For being kind to self and others.
- For healing and forgiving.
- For relaxing.
- For having fun.
- For revamping your home and other aspects of yourself and your life.
- For planting seeds for your future.
- And it’s time to get yourself and your talents out into the world more.

NEW MOON Solar Eclipse BLESSINGS!
Obstacles removed - Turning Point – Rebirth
New Moon in Gemini

This has been one helluva doozy of an unpredictable Eclipse season! How was it for you? It could be a bit tense for a few more days until things settle down, so hang onto your hats, your temper and your words.

Now we have the Solar Eclipse (the Ring of Fire eclipse) that closes this current Eclipse season. However the effects will still ripple and echo in your life for the next six months. Therefore the decisions you make now are very important. This is your chance to take that important step you know you have to take.

As this is a North Node Eclipse, it is about your future. We are all being given the chance to change our destiny. If you resist this or resist making the right decision/s, the Eclipse will shake things up to move you and your life in the right direction. You’ve already had some of these nudges since the current Eclipse season started, don’t ignore them or it could be a rough ride.

Gemini, networker of the zodiac is great at connecting people together. Some Gems are like walking encyclopedias as they love knowledge, and being an air sign, it’s all about the mind with them. They are also usually well informed and full of useful information. Being the sign of the twins they are very mercurial, they can change mood at the flick of a switch, and change back just as quickly. They teach us about duality, which twin is working through you today?

Although Gemini is also known as the communicator, with Mercury still retrograde, communication snafus continue. We had a typical Merc retrograde event with our landline/broadband line, which apparently is disintegrating, they are going to have to dig up the entire length of one side of our beautiful garden which is just coming into bloom – aaarghhh! What aaarghhh moments did you have over the past few weeks?

The good news is that if you have been hitting walls and coming up against blocks recently, all that is about to change. Doors will start to fly open for you, solutions appear and obstacles will be removed – hurrah! At first this may not feel comfortable especially if you have been in a rut, it may feel scary at first. Do not miss these opportunities, this is what you have been wanting, deep down, for a long time.

This is the rebirth we have all been waiting for. The ring of fire of this eclipse is a symbol of the ring of fire that we pass through when we are born. It is Phoenix Rising time, it is you rising from the ashes of what has been hurting you or holding you back. This is Shaman’s Death, resurrecting yourself from what has had to ‘die’ in order for you to be reborn. Make the most of it.

Yes, it’s scary and the unknown, yet it cannot be stopped once the process has started. Go with it, allow yourself to be reborn into the future that you so deserve. You and your life are being upgraded. Tune into that beautiful light within you, it is safe for you to do this now and radiate that out into the world, which very much needs it.

Although this Eclipse sounds very dramatic, the shifts and changes might be so subtle for some that you don’t even realise the changes are happening. If you resist, it may not be so subtle! The key is to remain open to the new that will start happening and not resist it or push it away.

Do remember that Mercury is still retrograde so things may be a bit muddled and hazy for another couple of weeks. Ride it out, the way will soon become clear and then you will be like an arrow ready to fly.

This New Moon is ideal for decording, fire rituals and ceremonies. It is also the perfect time for Lunar downloads; much information that you have been seeking from the other realms will come through now.

NEW MOON Decording Fire RITUAL

You will need a white candle, pen and paper, matches/lighter, heatproof vessel for burning, music.

- Create a quiet safe space where you cannot be disturbed.
- Light a candle and dedicate it to your ritual. Use your hands to waft the light
from the candle over your head and down your aura.
- Call in your protectors and guides and focus on the flame.
- Focus on your breathing and become quieter within.

- Write all that you want to let go of, write and write until you can’t think of anything else to write. Do not re-read it.
- Roll the papers into a scroll and twist it, now it needs to be burned. Find a safe place and heatproof container and burn it to ash, ensure that no words can be seen in the ash, that it is all ash. When cool, give the ash as a gift to Mother Earth and sprinkle it around your garden.

- Go back to your sacred space and put on some music that you can really let rip to. Get your sacral fire energy going through your dancing; this is your rebirth dance.

- When you have finished, give thanks, release your guides and protectors and send the light of the candle out to someone in need.

- Be open to the new that wants to come to you.
- Trust and have faith.
- Believe in yourself and your process.
- Make space for the new in your body, home, work, life, relationships etc.
- Welcome the chance to be reborn.

FULL Super MOON Lunar ECLIPSE Blessings!
PATIENCE – BOUNDARIES - CHANGE
Full Red Moon in Sagittarius

You may have felt more tired than usual in the past few days. The intense energies were inviting us all to slow down and go within in preparation for this week’s powerful Moon energies. Don’t keep pushing, if you need to rest then rest, your body will thank you and sometimes it’s good to get the mind to switch off for a while too.
Or you may be the opposite, bouncing around or manically charging around so full of energy you don’t know what to do with it. Enjoy it, however you may need to go outside to ground yourself and be mindful of those around you who are feeling the opposite.

For all you Sagittarians, something is coming to a big conclusion. This Moon is especially powerful for you. Something is coming to an end in order for you to be free for the bright future that is ahead.

For all of us, there is a bit of push/pull with this Sag Full Moon. Part of you just wants to jack it all in and run naked into the hills, yet the other part of you knows that this is just a phase and perhaps running naked around the ‘hood is not your best idea. Feelings of restlessness and the urge to be free are strong. Take a deep breath, be patient and channel that energy into something creative instead. Use this energy to ‘burn’ away what is outdated and outlived so that you can rise from the ashes reborn.

There’s a lot of potentially explosive and fiery energy around so stand well back, take a deep breath and think before speaking or acting. Change and transformation happen quickly under this fiery Sag energy.

And for all of us, it’s Eclipse season; this week’s Full Moon opens the Eclipse Window with a Total Lunar Eclipse in Sagittarius. Eclipses cause shake ups, wake ups and break ups. As some doors slam shut, other doors spring open to new and better things. If someone leaves at this point, know that someone better will come in for you.

Patience and finding the humour in whatever is going on are the keys to getting through this transit (which will all be over by the end of June).

And as it’s a Full Super Moon Lunar Eclipse it means that something will be illuminated, it will highlight something you need to know, it will shed light on the truth about someone, something or a situation.

It’s interesting that it’s the Blood Moon, the Red Moon. I was shown that this represents the bloodshed of the past that must never be repeated. More global truths will be revealed. Lightworkers are required to help heal the past of old battle energy and atrocities energy. The bloodshed of the past needs to be cleansed and the past healed but never forgotten. It’s up to the Lightworkers to clear the old vibrational frequencies and release the energy that has continued to disrupt the nations and countries this is most relevant to. You will need to help all the Souls of the past and their current descendants by focusing white light where it is needed. The countries involved will also need some healing light sent to clear their land from what happened in the past. And if our nation had any part in it, that energy needs to be cleared too.

Over the coming month, it’s important to use your common sense. Don’t automatically believe everything you hear or see, question everything and do your own research.

And how are your boundaries? Have people been taking advantage of you? Is it time to toughen up and set your boundaries in place again? Lines can get blurred especially over the next few weeks, so stand your ground and stand in truth.

Mercury (planet of Communication) goes retrograde until the end of June. Back up your computer, check your car - tyres, oil etc, fix what is broken or dripping - a dripping tap drips away your health and wealth.
Be prepared for last minute changes and/or delays especially if travelling.
Be flexible regarding any delays, in the end you will realise why they were necessary. So don’t lose heart, keep the faith that the Universe always has your back.
Double and triple check the small print on any contracts you may be signing, even better if you can wait until the end of June before signing anything.
Double check anything you send especially on social media, think before you click or even better, sleep on it before sending.
Avoid making large purchases.
Be prepared for people to have a kneejerk reaction to something innocuous. During Merc retrograde most folks don’t read things/listen properly before reacting.
Mercury retrograde gives us all time to slow down and catch up with tasks that we haven’t had time for such as clutter, outstanding filing etc. It’s a great time to sift and sort through everything and everyone in our lives. It’s also ideal for sifting and sorting through our own beliefs; do you really believe that still? Was that someone else’s belief that you took on board? Be prepared to have your mind opened in a totally different way.
Mercury retrograde is about recharging, rethinking, releasing, reworking, revising, etc. It’s about taking time out to relax and renew and think about doing things differently, perhaps even starting something new. Be open to the new possibilities this Eclipse season can bring you.

From a magickal point of view, this is a powerful Moon for scrying for the truth in a situation. (However you must be prepared for what is revealed to you, as you may not like it). It is also an ideal time for Cord Cutting rituals.

- Be patient and gentle with yourself and others.
- Take time for self-care and nurturing, especially for you.
- Remember to breathe, especially when it all gets a bit crazy.
- Something is coming to a head, go with it.
- Stay calm, stay grounded, remember to breathe out and all will be well.
