GONG PRACTITIONER TRAINING - OUR FINAL WEEKEND 🥹🥹🥹

I’ve had a mix of emotions thinking about writing this post, the past year has meant so much to me. Learning and sharing with this beautiful group of humans and our amazing teacher, mentor and fountain of knowledge .puresound has truly been the experience of a life time. I didn’t want it to end… It felt so strange driving back home for the last time from a place that had become to feel like a second home.

Of course the in person training was just part of the journey, I still have case studies to complete, volunteers to find and to see what unfolds down the road, but this certainly has been a beautiful chapter and one I will always be grateful for.

Thank you to our wonderful teacher .puresound and my Gong Family for sharing so much of their knowledge, wisdom and beautiful energy with me. ✨

🌌🌊GRAND WATER TRINE - SOUND BATHS🌊🌌

You may already be experiencing some of the effects of this beautiful Grand Trine energy that we are currently moving through. This Grand Water Trine is set to bring up a lot of emotions from our inner depths.🎣🌊

With Cancer’s influence, we could be revisiting our past in some way. This can be a particularly intense time for some. We may find ourselves facing insecurities and more difficult or uncomfortable feelings during this period.

There is potential for more emotional or vivid dreams.💤

This is a great time to journal your feelings and dreams…📖

It’s important to allow ourselves the time and space to truly feel these feelings, sit with them, observe them, have a brew with them and see what you can learn from them, but don’t let them move in with you! 🏡

These feelings are just visitors and they have something to show you, but they aren’t the whole story. Let them come and go with the flow on this Grand Trine.🚿

We are now in a huge portal of transformation. This is a great time to go within ourselves and quietly contemplate, we may have to re-think plans, we might need to let go of some things to allow the new things that we want in our lives to grow. 🌿

In this period of deep and sometimes turbulent emotion, it can be helpful to take time each day to be still, breathe and drop into our heart space, as there we will find the wisdom to guide us through this sacred portal. ✨🧘🏻‍♀️🧘🏾✨

🌿🌅✨ CEREMONY PREPARATIONS✨🌅🌿

Before a ceremony I always like to go out on my own and connect to nature and the elements. 🌿🌊🌅💨

Yesterday I took myself out on a nice big sunset walk to go and visit my favourite rock. The wind and rain/ice was lashing at my face and at times it felt like cold needles, it was brutal. I stopped take shelter, to put some more layers on. I thought, should I turn back? This gruelling…. I thought about it and then the lesson came. My favourite rock wasn’t far away now. I’d put all the hard work in. Soon I’d be in a more sheltered spot and I’d feel better for completing my mission.

I CAN DO HARD THINGS.

I continued on, laughing at myself for contemplating giving up . I looked at the bleak grey swirling sky ahead of me and then noticed a change. I turned around to see the most beautiful glorious slither of golden sunlight making it through the clouds. I hadn’t expected to see the Sun on this walk at all and there it was, my reward. The message.

We are in a storm right now. Humanity is battling for its own existence and it feels exhausting. Everything has been made harder, they are trying their best to grind us down. It can feel hopeless…

But then you see that little slither of sunlight, connection, community, kindness, laughter, beauty… we can be these things for one and other we can be these things for ourselves.✨🌅✨

On Samhain that liminal moment in time between summer and winter, between light and dark, between life and death we stand at a pivotal time for humanity. The death of an old way and beginning of another. The breaking of cycles and the start of our new Earth. This isn’t the end. It is the beginning… 🌿🌅✨

As the world around us may appear to be in turmoil, tuning into our compassion for ourselves and others is essential to moving us towards a more peaceful and fulfilling existence. An existence where we can move closer to one another and into the energies of love, compassion, community and creation while moving away from the vibrations of fear and division.

Holding love and compassion in our hearts for all beings might not be an easy task, but we did not sign up for this incarnation to do easy things…

We will be starting the evening with a guided compassion meditation, before moving into the sound journey where we will be putting some focus on the Crown, Third eye, Solar Plexus and Heart Chakras.

I had the most beautiful weekend learning and sharing with this inspiring group of women at Roots to Ritual retreat.

We ate some amazing home cooked nourishing food, gathered, created and shared our stories. While Jules and Lauren shared their wisdom and creativity on how ritual can be brought into our every day lives. Everything was so down to Earth and normal, we had a good laugh, made an amazing mandala, had a rebirth in an icy pool, danced and sung around the fire and admired Lauren’s Dad’s stunning carpentry work. 😜

The biggest take away I got from the weekend is that we are all worthy and capable of performing rituals. Whether they are for our communities, our friends, family or just for ourselves. These rituals are important, they are part of who we are as human beings and you don’t need to have fancy cape or certificate (although we did get one! 😆) you just need an intention and that’s were you begin. 🪶

Thank you so much for having me and creating a space and community that felt very much Iike home. ✨🪶🪬🍁🍂
