Would you like to be part of this special new venture?

Now 2026 is with us it is time for me to start working on a project that I am really excited about - a Forest of Dean Foodie Network (it could also include Hereford and Worcs too), this will be focused on the area and all the special producers we have. It will be a space to get together, work together as a big team and just generally be a support network. The plan will be monthly get togethers initially but this could grow into workshops, support and anything that local producers may find useful.
This will be open for producers, farms, local distributors, factories and agents and traders around the area.
I love our area and all the contacts I have and I would love nothing more than spending more quality time with everyone too!

Be great to find a perfect monthly venue too.

So happy to be able to sponsor a tree for the Lydbrook Christmas Tree Festival! It’s nice to know that I can at least utilise some of my money in the business to go towards a nice cause! 🥰
It’s an absolute pleasure to be able to support this event and it’s been fun decorating the tree with these cool little logo baubles!

One of my monthly jobs is horizon scanning and then compiling all of the food fraud and food safety information that has been an issue and that needs potential action. This is really important for my client so we ascertain the risk to them.
I also put together a food safety newsletter with hyperlinks so that my clients can head straight to the problem in question and see you once again if it has any relevance to them.
This is super important and helps us keep on top of an ever-changing world in relation to food fraud and product defence. I really hope they all find this useful, I must admit most months I am completely shocked with what I read!

Had a really interesting day yesterday with the FSA National Food Crime Unit, really great to see how the tools are use on a day-to-day basis build up such an important part of this.

A great day with our Traceability Challenge (TC) assessors and the Food Standards Agency's National Food Crime Unit (NFCU) delivering training on food fraud. Our wholly owned and operated TC Programme for licensees is comprehensive and industry leading. Thanks to our assessors who do a fantastic job...
