Natasha was first drawn to meditation to help her cope with severe anxiety, ptsd, chronic illness and the daily challenges of parenting children with special needs. She discovered how mindfulness and meditation transformed her life in so many ways and wanted to share what she had learned in order to help others feel the benefits too. Natasha is now a certified and accredited life coach and meditation practitioner and is passionate about helping bring peace, stillness and serenity to others lives. It doesn't matter what your history, religion or background is, meditation is something we can all benefit from as humans, emotionally, mentally, physically and spiritually, as we navigate our way through life in our fast paced, stressful world.

Sadly only one person showed up for my Anxiety workshop today but it went great nonetheless.
Even just the thought of running something like this would have set off my anxiety when I was at my worst.
Anxiety is something that I am still learning to live with on a daily basis but I'm no longer letting it take the wheel of my life.
Remember bravery isn't doing something that scares you fearlessly, but by doing it, regardless of the fear.
If you can't beat fear, do it scared.

The sun is setting on my regular meditation classes at Idun Spirit. I have come to the end of an amazing chapter.

My Sunday meditation classes were how I began my coaching journey and while they have come to a natural end, I will always be grateful to those who attended my classes and gave me the opportunity to grow and evolve as a teacher.

Thank you also to Libby and Toni at Idun Spirit who allowed me the chance to take my first baby steps on this adventure.

While these classes will end, I am not going anywhere. I will still be available for 1:1 coaching sessions and workshops. I'm looking forward to expanding my business and venturing down new and exciting avenues.

✨ ANXIETY WORKSHOP - 31st JULY ✨

As someone who has suffered severely with panic and anxiety, I know just how distressing and debilitating it can be and how it can impact pretty much every area of your life.

Mindfulness and meditation are such powerful tools for managing anxiety and they absolutely transformed my life. I want to share what I learned and still practice today to help you find peace in the eye of your storm.

In this two hour workshop you will:

✨Join me and other like-minded individuals in a relaxed, friendly and comfortable setting.
✨ Learn about anxiety, how it manifests in your mind and body, how it is fuelled and why it happens.
✨ Receive gentle guidance, encouragement, the basic skills of mindfulness and meditation and how they can be applied to anxiety and panic.
✨ Be given a selection of tools and activities which you can use in your day to day life.
✨ Be guided through a meditation created to help relax your body and shift you out of your fight or flight response.
✨ Receive worksheets and information to take with you so you can continue your practice at home.

Participation in group chat isn't required if you struggle to speak in a group setting. You can opt out of conversation if you would prefer to just listen, however, interaction is gently encouraged if you feel able to.

The cost of the workshop is £25 pp

Anxiety is a part of life and we need it for our safety and survival.
What we don't need is our reaction to anxiety, our fear of anxiety, our submission to anxiety.

Nothing makes us suffer more than the stories we tell ourselves about our past, present and future.
Anxiety is when we get so caught up in our mind made narrative that we start believing them to be true.
A great way to step out of anxiety is to realise that most of the time these stories are just that, a story, fiction, make believe.

Anxiety sucks.
I know, I lived most of my life consumed by it.
Meditation and mindfulness allowed me, for the first time in my life, to put anxiety in the passenger seat and take back the wheel of my life.

Pain, either physical or emotional, can have a significant impact in our lives.
When all of your instincts are to run from your pain, the last thing on your mind is to sit with the discomfort. However, meditation and mindfulness can be an amazing tool for not only reducing pain but also the mental suffering which comes with it.
Meditation will not cure you of your pain but can help you learn to live alongside it.

On Sunday 12th June I will be guiding a meditation designed to help with chronic pain, either physical or emotional.
You can lay on a yoga mat, sit on the floor or one of our comfortable chairs, whatever works best for you.

Thinking is a tool that we so often forget to put down.
Life is to be experienced and we struggle to do that if we are narrating every moment.
Try sitting for a moment and just feeling.
Use all your senses.
Just focus on what you feel.
Notice how your mind wants to label and make judgements about everything.
Notice your thoughts then gently return your attention to what you can feel.
This practice allows us to experience our existence in its purest form.
Because we are, after all, human beings not human thinkings
