Please meet Sophie Blackman-Smith (Dip Hyp. MHS) - Trauma-Informed Grief Coach and Hypnotherapist.

With over 25 years as a clinical professional in healthcare, Sophie has dedicated her career to supporting others through times of challenge and change. Her lifelong commitment to care deepened through her own experiences of grief and trauma, which awakened a calling to help others navigate their own losses.

This personal journey led Sophie to train as a trauma-informed Grief Coach and Hypnotherapist.

She now offers compassionate, intuitive support for those facing grief and loss, weaving together the sacred practices of grief-tending and hypnotherapy. Her approach gently addresses subconscious patterns, nurtures self-compassion, and equips clients with tools to navigate grief with greater clarity, resilience, and acceptance.

Beyond grief work, Sophie also offers hypnotherapy for a range of concerns, including anxiety, weight management, smoking cessation, confidence building, performance enhancement, and the release of fears and phobias.

Sophie’s philosophy is rooted in compassion, empowerment, and self-discovery. She creates a calm and supportive space where you can reconnect with your inner wisdom - your rising wisdom - to release limiting beliefs, honour your unique path, and move toward lasting transformation and alignment with your most authentic self.

Sophie works with adults. She holds an Enhanced DBS, and is a Registrant Member of the National Hypnotherapy Society - abiding by their Code of Ethics.

For those of you with appointments at the clinic this morning

Motorists are being asked to avoid the A22 between and due to a significant fuel spillage which occurred last night (12 May).

A number of closures are currently in place around the area while the clean-up operation takes place. This is likely to take some time.

The following closures are currently in place:
• The A22 southbound from the Wapses Lodge roundabout to J6 of the M25
• The A22 southbound from Godstone Road
• Traffic heading north from J6 of the M25 is being diverted onto Godstone Road into Caterham town
• Godstone Road is closed southbound at the roundabout with Church Hill and Croydon Road.

Bus, ambulance and fire services have been notified of the closures.

Please avoid the area and seek an alternative route. Thank you for your patience and cooperation while this incident is dealt with.
