May just try this circle approach for tree pose this evening!
For me, one of the most beautiful things about my yoga teacher trainings and mentoring programmes is the community that forms, whether people are in the studio, online or learning at their own pace. I’ve found this connection is still able to develop and it’s something I really foster as a teacher.
Last week in one of the course groups, a student asked for some advice on lesson planning because it was taking her a long time. Within minutes, teachers were sharing their methods for lesson planning, template ideas, time saving tips and books to help. Suddenly this person didn’t feel alone any more, and she had some real ways to cut down her planning time. It also helped other students who had been struggling with the same thing.
Whether you’re on our Self-Paced course studying in your pyjamas at midnight, learning online, in person or hybrid, you’re never doing this alone!
As well as being able to reach out to me for guidance any time, the WhatsApp groups buzz with real-time support when you’re stuck and questions that help everyone learn. Even my graduates stay connected and I love it when a group pings with a question years after the training finished (because this happens!)
