Jol and Val Wardle - Retired Osteopaths and Naturopaths

Jol and Val Wardle - Retired Osteopaths and Naturopaths Jol Wardle D.O. N.D. Val Wardle BSc.(Hons) N.D. (now retired) Naturopathic Osteopaths registered with the General Osteopathic Council.

The aim of osteopathy is to help the body repair itself by restoring normal function to the areas which are causing the symptoms. Osteopaths use their hands both to investigate the underlying causes of pain and to carry out treatment. We look at the whole body not just the area that is painful. Treatment includes a wide range of techniques such as massage to relax and stretch the muscles and contracted areas of the body; rhythmic movements of the joints to improve their function and manipulation to release restricted joints. You will also get exercise and lifestyle advice to follow to aid treatment where appropriate.
