Has anyone got any photos of home adaptions they have made for their dog that they are happy to be shared?
Looking for all sorts of ideas to help lots of others dogs in and around their home. Please send me a message with any ideas and photos if possible. Poor Rosie (and Adam) are sick of demonstrating!

Christmas is here at Stretch and Flex with my homemade wreath now on the gate. I am looking forward to seeing lots of you this week in the lead up to the big day.

I will not be contactable from Monday 22nd December until Friday 2nd January so please do get in touch as soon as possible to avoid any delay. I have no availability left now for appointments this year, but please do let me know if you would like an appointment for 2026 as soon as possible as things are already getting busy!

WE ARE BACK!!

After 3 weeks of the treadmill being out of action we are finally back to normal proceedings. I think everyone who had appointments changed have now been contacted and offered alternative dates and times. If you were expecting me to contact you and I haven’t, please do give me a nudge!

Billy is also pleased the treadmill/ham dispensing machine is back in action. No prizes for guessing where the ham is in this picture!

Theo helped me write up his notes yesterday 💙

I have been seeing Theo for almost a year to help with management of his osteoarthritis and he has certainly shown some progress. Theo is now full of energy and continuously asking his pawrents to get out and explore with him as well as stumbling less frequently and playing with his puppy neighbour!🐾 We have now reduced the frequency of Theo’s physio appointments as he has made such fantastic progress.

Fantastic collaboration with MSK Vets on this one as well as Theo’s fabulous owners who have worked so hard. Not only has Theo lost almost 4 kilos, but he has also gained in muscle mass significantly and is clearly feeling much better. Good job Team Theo! 💪

It has been a very stressful couple of weeks here at Stretch and Flex with the treadmill out of action. We weren’t going to let that stop us and we have instead turned our attention to land based therapeutic exercises in physio appointments to target some of the same goals that the treadmill does. It’s an added bonus that these exercises can also be practiced at home.

Fingers crossed for some progress with the treadmill repair next week but I am enjoying getting to do a bit more remedial exercise in the meantime! 💪

Yesterday evening we welcomed a group of local Vet Physios to the clinic for an evening of learning (and lots of cake 🍰🧁🍩🍪) with Drew Tootal from MSK Vets. Drew chatted to us about all things Osteoarthritis, and went through some of the innovative diagnostic tools and treatments which MSK Vets can offer.

It was brilliant to be able to chat with colleagues about how this can be best integrated into practice and had given me lots to think about. Thank you so much to Drew for giving up his time to come and speak to us.

Unfortunately you have all been keeping me far too busy (thank you so much!) and I am stretched to the absolute limit at the moment so I am temporarily closing my books to new clients. Hoping to be able to reopen them next month but my priority is to make sure I am providing the best care I can to all my current patients without completely turning myself inside out!

For those wanting appointments before the end of 2025 please do get in touch as soon as you can so that I can get you booked in.

There are no words for how grateful I am to you all for all of your support. Back to replying to the many many emails and messages, hoping to be caught up with everyone by the end of the week, but feel free to poke me if you are waiting for a reply still!🤞

Has anyone got a pony who would fancy a mini break to mine for a couple of weeks until we sort something else out?

We unfortunately lost a mare over the weekend so down to two 💔 meaning Doris and I are stranded as Fletcher isn’t a fan of being left alone! Got some more long term plans being actioned, but we would ideally would like something asap!
