Race to the Stones 50k training

I tried to put the captions on, but I’m so common it couldn’t work out what I’m saying 🤣

Our first long run together
We met at 7am. I was tired, and he was like an excited kid going on a school trip.
Took me a while to liven up and get into it.
Lots of swearing and slagging each other off, but all jokes aside, we did good.
We spent 3 hours running, me eating, and having a laugh. We’ve got 9 weeks of this ahead of us 😅
Will we end up running it together?
That is the question 👀

This time last year we were partying to celebrate my dad’s 60th birthday.

I was preparing for the London Marathon and raising money for Rethink Mental Illness.

I decided to have a charity party in memory of my dad to celebrate him.
I put everything into that evening.

I wanted it to be a night where my dad was remembered for who he was, not the way he died.
My dad loved a party… and we gave him one to remember 🤍

It was such a good night x

I’m actually spoilt for choice with trainers at the minute 🙈
I haven’t run in these yet because I’m waiting for a bit of sunshine. They’re too fresh to be dragged out in this weather 😂 As soon as I’ve taken them out, I’ll let you know wa gwan 😉
But first impressions? The colourway is cleeean. Proper summer vibes.
