Guess who I got to meet last night?

The amazing and very kind and humble Simon Squibb.

I attended his event at BOXPARK Wembley last night where he presented some of the individuals that he has helped with achieving their dreams.

I love his ethos and values and think what he is creating with his idea HelpBnk - "Helping People, Help People" is amazing.

Get signed up, it is a fantastic cause of helping others who are struggling and need some help getting things answered, advice and expertise, that not always all of us have at our fingertips and can't always afford.

Simon has a huge heart and it was an incredible event to be part of, one that I will remember for a long time to come and will be cheering on many individuals now, that were showcased at the event.

Those individuals had a dream and Simon believed in them and supported them to go for it - sometimes that gesture of support is what we need to get over that hurdle of fear - but for others the fear is too great.

(That is where I come in.)

If you had a superpower, what would it be?

I have always wanted to be able to fly and this week I found myself flying across the world and into space. Yes you read that right!

The experience I had was truly amazing and I think that this would be high on the list of my recommendations of things to do when you are feeling like you need a holiday or to get away from it all.

In a rather futuristic setting you will find Otherworld, a Virtual Reality Experience set in Victoria, surrounded by office blocks and new developments and is a wonderful oasis of calm as you sit and await your slot and adventure to come up on the screen.

You can choose from different games or Google Earth, which is where I found myself flying from the Grand Canyon down to Victoria Falls and then onto a beach in Tanzania.

The experience ended under the Northern Lights, kayaking through pieces of ice and amongst massive icebergs at night-time. The word breathtaking doesn't even do it justice.

The experience overall was outstanding and one that I will remember for a very long time.

Try and get yourself there - there are 3 venues to choose from, Victoria, Hackney and Birmingham (I include the link below in the comments).

Great fun for team building or friends/family outings.

My name is Lara.....

....and I totally understand as I have been there. I have spent many an hour struggling to achieve my goals but often not having support or encouragement or too afraid to ask for help.

I wasted many an hour feeling stressed and overwhelmed, going round and round in circles not knowing where to start and not having a clear plan of action.
