Winter can be tough on the skin, leaving it dull, dry, and lacklustre. Here are some key ways to bring back the glow:
Hydrate Inside & Out: Drink plenty of water to keep skin plump and hydrated. Use a rich, nourishing moisturiser with ingredients like hyaluronic acid, and squalane.
Gentle Exfoliation: Discard dead skin cells with a mild exfoliant (something with alpha hydroxy acid or an enzyme scrub) 2-3 times a week. Avoid harsh scrubs that can irritate winter-sensitive skin.
Add a Glow-Boosting Serum: Vitamin C helps brighten skin and combat dullness. Bakuchiol is comforting and reduces the signs of ageing.
Protect with SPF UV rays still affect skin in winter, so use a toxic free SPF 30 daily.
Eat Skin-Loving Foods: Omega-3s (found in salmon, flaxseeds, and walnuts) keep skin supple. Antioxidant-rich foods (berries, leafy greens, and nuts) help maintain a healthy glow.
Humidify & Mist: A humidifier can add moisture back into dry indoor air. A hydrating facial mist can refresh skin throughout the day.
