Its ok to take rest days and not feel guilty about it. In fact its important to take rest days and let your body recover. I am getting better at doing this as I used to overdo it and regret it. Rest days are important for your body to be able to repair itself.

Sometimes your just not feeling the love for exercise. Its ok to take a day off or maybe just do 10 minites of something. Or just have some time to stretch and calm your mind.

Do you get anxious about going out for a run ?
All that matters is that you get out and move your body. Theres no right or wrong speed. You run for your own personal reasons, you are on your own journey. The right pace is your pace your doing right now. You don't have to go fast you just have to go

What are your lane swims like ?
I live by the motto that 'you don't have to go fast, you just have to go' Its about moving your body and being on your own journey and getting out of the exercise what you want out of it. Everyone exercises for their different reasons.

Do you use the weather as an excuse not to exercise ?I used to say it was too wet, too cold, too hot. Then just didn't do anything and beat myself up about not doing anything but also try and reason with myself that the weather was the reason, not my lack of motivation or my anxiety that was scary to overcome. So the blame always had to be something that was out of my control. The weather of course is always going to be out of your control and living in Britain if you never exercise in the rain you would hardly ever exercise. So stop making excuses and kick your butt. I promise you will feel better for it.

The majority of the reason we become overweight is because we emotionally eat. We emotionally eat because our mental health isn't at its best. Change the narritive and start exercising and eating healthy to look after your mental health. So ditch the scales and start looking after you.

There are so many classes around so something for everyone.
Bounce classes in Guildford are the most friendliest class I have ever known. The instructors are so welcoming and the people that go to the class are so lovely. It is like one big happy family. Don't worry about being a newbie as you will be greeted with a friendly welcome as soon as you walk through the door and all your worries about the class will melt away and you will have fun while getting fit and strong 💪

Reduce anxiety and improve your mood when you are struggling with depression. This is what helps me when I have times where I'm stressed or struggling with low mood and has helped me with my anxiety. Its good to just go into the peace and calm of nature and get away from life for a little while.
