🩷💜🩵World Cancer Day, observed on 4th February, is a global call to raise awareness, improve education, and support those affected by cancer. 🩷💜🩵

Cancer effects millions of people, but through early detection, timely treatment and collective support, many lives can be saved.

As a domiciliary Care Provider, we support service users living with cancer, as well as their families by working alongside McMillian and Cancer Research UK charities.

Premier Care believe strongly in ensuring our staff are safe and feel comfortable when completing all training.
We have our own bedroom setup with hoisting equipment to give more realistic training.
At Premier Care we pride ourselves on not only our internal update training, but the regular external courses that our trainers attend.

📢Winter Support Food Drive📢

After last years success with our food donations, we have already made a start this year on our collections.
Food parcels will be made up of donations from Carers along with matched donations from Premier Care.
Food parcels will be distributed to our Service Users with greatest needs, these will be those with:
➡️No close relatives or friend's
➡️Poor environment living conditions
➡️No immediate support following Hospital Discharge.

Family members struggling to drink enough?
Here are our top 3 tips:
• Offer appealing and a range of fluids, including Tea, Hot Chocolate, Cordial, Fresh Fruit Juice, Milkshakes.
• Visual: Clear cups/glasses/beakers so the contents can be seen. Or try Bright coloured cups/Beakers to get attention.
• Ensure the Cups, Glasses/Beakers are easy to hold and not to heavy, Providing a straw can make drinking easier.

A stroke can happen to anyone, at anytime, anywhere. adults will have a stroke in their lifetime.
World Stroke Day is an opportunity to raise awareness of the serious nature and high rates of stroke.

The F.A.S.T. message is a simple acronym that can help you remember the most common signs of a stroke and to act quickly if you or someone else is experiencing them.

Winter Support Food Drive

Premier Care is working towards making positive changes within the community for our service users.

We have started a Food Drive in partnership with our carers and supported by Morrisons.

Premier Care has decided to support those service users with the greatest needs. These will be those with:
