Received no response to my letters to the practice or Dr Hewett himself. I have now sent a final letter of warning to the practice, which has not responded to either of my letters. This practice is supposed to be overseeing Dr Hewett and his work as instructed by the GDC. They are clearly failing. This will be escalated to the GDC if there is no response to my letter of complaint against them.

Today I followed up with further letters to Dr Hewett and the practice itself.

Last week, I received a letter from the GDC, which states that: Indemity Insurance is a private matter.

Dr Hewett was declared bankrupt shortly after negligence affecting multiple patients, and blocking redress. GDC NOT ininterested.

Dentist can harm patients and Block redress. GDC says that indemnity insurance is a private matter and does not investigate.

Received a letter of closure from Dr Hewett's insurer - my claim was closed because Dr Hewett failed to engage with my claim.
