EMDR.
I trained in this modality of therapy several years ago. I’ve continued to train and read about the application and science behind it.
At first I was a complete sceptic.
How can this therapy possibly work?
In my experience of working with clients who have experienced trauma I believe it helps enormously.
Clients say “ I feel lighter” “ I no longer believe that to be true”.
It’s well researched the body keeps the score of trauma.
