Well - Sunday’s lovely women’s circle was another resounding success with some returning folk and some newbies😍…. was so enthralling with her talk on the brain’s default network that I totally forgot to take any photos … so here’s some of my Monday afternoon run instead 😂…. I took my learnings from Beth’s chat and did the lot without music or podcast to allow my brain to take the time to daydream and problem solve in its own sweet time!

One of the highlights of our holidays in wales was a trip to and the beautiful face painting by the clever - Eva asked for a unicorn and that’s exactly what she got (and refused to have it washed off for 2 days 😂)…. This from a child who’s previously point blank refused face paints for 3 years 🤷‍♀️

After the success of the August Women’s circle Gail and I are really looking forward to hosting the next one on Sunday 7th September (6pm - 7.30pm (ish!) at in Todmorden.

AND we have a really exciting guest speaker lined up (https://bethcreedon.co.uk) a local (and international) life coach will lead a session exploring one of your brain’s most powerful yet overlooked systems - the Default Network. This network is where your mind weaves connections, unlocks creativity, integrates life experiences, and sparks those “aha” moments.

You’ll experience first-hand how intentional mental wandering can improve problem-solving, emotional clarity, and self-understanding . Expect a mix of neuroscience, humour, and depth as we uncover why doing nothing can be one of the most productive things you’ll ever do.

This workshop is a chance to tap into your brain’s natural capacity for insight and renewal. You’ll leave with practical tools, a fresh perspective, and perhaps a surprising message from your own wandering mind.

Dependant on how many questions there are for Beth there should also be time to have a chat and learn a bit about each other (as much or as little as you like !)

The session will close with a calming guided mediation and group reiki.

No need to book - just turn up🙏- cost is £10

My Calm & Confidence Session is a gentle, supportive 45 minute experience to help children of all ages feel grounded and ready for whatever comes their way. The session includes:

💆‍♀️ 30 mins of relaxing treatment - facial reflexology, foot reflexology and/or Reiki (tailored to their comfort)
👐 15 mins learning quick self-care reflexes & calming techniques they can use anytime
📄 Take-home handout and optional videos to keep the calm going at home

I’m DBS checked and experienced in working with children, creating a safe, nurturing space where they can relax, recharge, and learn skills for life.
