Memory Lane

Memory Lane Memory Lane aims to support people living with memory loss including their family, carers and friends by providing information, support and fun activities.

The Memory Lane Café is newly established and aims to support people living with memory loss including their family, carers and friends by providing information, emotional support, as well as the opportunity to share experiences with others, and ultimately help to reduce isolation. The café also provides an informal and social environment in which to learn new skills, enjoy activities, listen to g

uest speakers and make new friends. The Memory Lane Café is a not for profit organisation and is run by volunteers. Local funding has enabled the café to launch, however to successfully run and operate a nominal entry fe e will be charged of £2 per person. This will be used to provide refreshments (tea, coffee, soft drinks, biscuits, cakes), materials and equipment (craft materials, games, memory puzzles, reminiscence aids), and for the provision of guest speakers / entertainers. Please note that the café is not a formal care setting. The facilities available are therefore for the support of both the individual with memory loss and their loved ones.
