So excited that I’m now one of the PT’s at !

I have daytime and evening slots available for 1:1 sessions, couples/friend training, and small groups. I’ll also be leading the Jetts Run Club on a Monday evening at 6:15pm 🙌🏻. A steady, social session of about 5km to start the week off 💪🏼

I’m a perinatal qualified PT and specialise in women’s training, complete beginners and runners strength. I’ll be your biggest cheerleader and absolutely love helping people thrive in fitness and hit their goals.

I also love the social side of fitness and running, and how it brings people from all walks of life together so I’ll be planning some group coaching sessions in the future.

Whilst the sound of mum and baby groups seems like an amazing way to spend your maternity leave, by the time you’ve packed your bag, dealt with a p*e and poonami, changed your top twice because sick and had to go back in for the bottle you left on the counter, you’ve already had a full workout. Then you remember you’ve forgotten to brush your teeth 🤦🏻‍♀️🤣

I’ve been there and done it. Twice. And it’s the reason I trained as a postnatal PT because those sessions kept me sane, strong and rebuilt my confidence and self esteem.

If you’re at least 6 weeks PP (or 12 weeks C section) and are looking to gently get back into fitness or are wanting to start from scratch, I can provide mobile sessions in Leeds/Halifax and Brighouse or online coaching with regular check ins.

Mobile coaching in your own home, or both another mum who will be your biggest cheerleader. Where there is no expectation for you to brush your hair/teeth, wear make up, pack the nappy bag, worry about whether there’s petrol in the car. DM me to book your slot❤️

By regularly showing up for yourself you can charge the narrative to ‘new life, new me’. Fitness and health isn’t an 8 week drop a dress size challenge. It’s lifelong habits that bring happiness, give you purpose and build your confidence. Choosing that for yourself is what you deserve. Fill your cup first ❤️

Are you new or returning to exercise? Do you find the thought of going to a gym intimidating and overwhelming? My life completely changed when I began a couch to 5km at my local running club.
On my 32nd birthday, I turned up unfit, unmotivated and unsure whether I was capable of running 5km continuously.
Turns out I could because 8 weeks later I ran Brighouse parkrun without stopping or walking.

There was no expectation for me to do anything other than follow a simple, achievable plan. I didn’t have to change my diet, I wasn’t expected to loose weight, inches or drop a dress size. I wasn’t expected to do it in a certain time or be able to run any particular pace. I just had to show up 3 times a week and put the effort in for 45 minutes - not for the run leaders, not for the others in my group but for me.

8 years later I’m so grateful to 2018 me for taking that step. I remember how painfully hard it was. I’ve gone on to achieve so much and I’m proud of the resilient, strong, happy and ambitious woman I am. I’m fit, strong and have a life full of wonderful people and amazing opportunities because I took one step and just kept moving.

I wouldn’t have trained to be a PT if I didn’t make that step. Before I started running I felt I didn’t have purpose outside of being ‘mum’. And whilst that’s still my absolute favourite role in the world, helping others to achieve their goals and change their lives gives me so much life now.

So just close your eyes and take the step and if you need someone to hold your hand who ‘gets it’, I’m here ❤️

3 peaks with these babes. The therapy I needed! We picked a perfect dry and cloudy day - but it was freezing, the first time I’ve felt cold this autumn. We managed to get to the pub just as the darkness set it so thankfully we didn’t need to rock our head torches. And we won’t mention the tiny ‘detour’ 🤦🏻‍♀️😆.
