StrongHer For Life

StrongHer For Life Creator of the StrongHer For Life Programme Hi, I’m Ashley Bishop and I was a fat personal trainer! I was able to spin all the plates I needed to.

Women’s Health & Wellbeing Coach

I help you lose weight, regain fitness and rebuild strength through simple, steady habits so you feel more energised, confident and like you again. I launched my personal training business in 2005 and within 3 years with no business knowledge, I was fully booked, delivering 40 – 50 60 min PT sessions a week. This meant when you added in the running of the business, I was regularly working 60 – 70 hour weeks. In those early days, I could manage that because I lived at home, mum and dad did everything for me, and I had no children! Fast forward to when I was married, Caitlyn and I had a home to look after, and we’d just had our first born Thomas I had a lot of plates to spin, and something had to give. What gave was me, I stopped looking after myself. I didn’t exercise, I ate a lot of junk food, lots of coffee and whiskey and by the time Thomas was 1 I’d piled on 3.5 stone, couldn’t get to the top of the stairs without being breathless and generally struggled to give my best to those I loved most. I needed to sort myself out, this is when I decided that diet and exercise alone wasn’t the answer. I needed to learn how to create real change in my life that was long lasting over those traditional peaks and troughs of ‘I’m on it’ or ‘I have no motivation to do it’. Fast forward to today, I work with people just like me …

Business owners who are focused on growing their businesses so they can make a bigger impact in the world BUT also do what they do because they want to give their families the best life possible. The only way to excel in business and thrive in life is to create daily routines and habits that fit into your lifestyle and optimise your physical and mental fitness.

Change is awkward. And that’s normal.

Whenever you start a new habit or try to upgrade an old one… it often feels:

• Awkward
• Challenging
• Uncomfortable
• Difficult

That’s because your subconscious brain hates change.

It wants familiarity. Comfort. The status quo.
So it’ll do everything it can to pull you back to what you’ve always done.

The answer isn’t more motivation.

It’s imperfect consistency.

Keep showing up.
Keep doing the work… even when it feels clunky and messy.

Each rep makes it a little easier.
Each attempt builds confidence.

Until one day… it clicks.

And what once felt hard becomes your new normal.

Here’s to a strong, steady week ahead.

And if you need a bit of support, just drop me a message.

You’re not bad at looking after yourself.

You’ve just made everyone else the priority for so long… You disappeared.

Read that again.

Work gets done.
Family comes first.
Everyone else is taken care of.

And you?

You cope. You manage. You wait.

Not because you don’t care about your health... but because you’ve learned to put yourself last without even noticing.

Until the tiredness feels normal.
Your confidence takes a knock.
And you quietly feel frustrated with yourself.

Here’s the shift that changes things:

Your health doesn’t need more time.
It needs permission.

I had a client juggling work and family with no spare hours at all.

We didn’t add more to her plate.
We made her health fit the life she already had.

And that’s why she’s finally consistent... without the guilt.

If this feels like it’s describing you, message me “TIME”.

We’ll have a brief, honest conversation, and if it feels right, I’ll invite you to a 30-minute StrongHer Clarity Call to explore a steadier path forward that aligns with your life.

No pressure.
Just clarity.

She was coping on the outside.

But exhausted, stuck, and running on empty behind the desk.

Tajana works from home, sits most of the day, and was juggling everything... but her energy was low, the weight wouldn’t shift, and she felt stuck.

We focused on simple, realistic habits that fit real life.

She lost 6kg.
Her clothes fit again.
And she said she felt the best she had since her teens.

If this feels familiar, the next step isn’t doing more... it’s getting clear.

Book a 30-minute StrongHer Clarity Call to understand what’s been holding you back and what will actually work for you.

If it makes sense, we can also talk about the 6-week ReEnergise programme.

Comment “CLARITY” or message me, and I’ll send you the details.

You don’t stop because you’re busy.

You stop because one slip feels like proof you can’t stick to things.

That’s the part no one really talks about.

It’s not the missed workout.
It’s not the takeaway.
It’s not the messy week.

It’s the meaning you attach to it.

You tell yourself:

“Here we go again.”
“Why can’t I just be consistent?”
“I can handle everything else, why not this?”

And that quiet frustration is exhausting.

Because on the outside, you’re capable.

People rely on you.
You get things done.

But when it comes to your own health, one imperfect week can be enough to make you step away, not dramatically, just quietly.

Here’s the truth:

All-or-nothing thinking turns normal life disruption into an identity issue.

I had a client recently who had a messy week.

Missed sessions.
Ate off plan.

She didn’t restart.
She didn’t disappear.
She kept going.

And that single decision did more for her progress than any “perfect” week ever had.

If this feels uncomfortably familiar, you don’t need more motivation or stricter rules.

Message me the word “STEADY”.

We’ll have a short, honest chat and if it feels right, I’ll invite you to a 30-minute StrongHer Clarity Call to help you get clear on a steadier way forward that actually fits your life.

No pressure.
No judgement.
Just clarity.

I don’t LOVE exercise.

Which might sound strange for someone who’s spent 25 years in the health and wellbeing world... but it’s true.

I move my body Monday to Friday for around 30 minutes.

And most days, I’m not bursting with motivation when it’s time to start.

So why do I still do it?

Because I love how it makes me feel after.

That quiet sense of achievement.
The clearer head.
The lift in mood.
The way my body feels lighter, steadier and more awake.
(The happy hormone hit definitely helps too.)

And because I remind myself of the longer-term benefits...

More stable energy through the day
Better sleep
A calmer nervous system
Stronger joints and muscles
Fewer aches and pains
Better focus and patience
More resilience to stress
And a body that supports my life... rather than holding it back

I don’t move because I’m “motivated”.

I move because it’s one of the simple, steady habits that helps me feel more like myself.

And that matters.

Have an awesome day.

The 2 most important questions…

WHAT & WHY

WHAT - These are the tangible results most people focus on:

• Weight
• Dress size
• Fitness

Important? Yes.
But they’re only part of the picture.

WHY - This is what actually drives change:

• Feeling more energised
• Feeling more confident
• Being a great role model
• Showing up as the best version of you
• Feeling more like you again

When you get crystal clear on your WHY, consistency becomes easier.

You stop relying on motivation and willpower (because they never last).

And you start showing up imperfectly… but consistently.

That’s where real, sustainable progress comes from.

Are you ready to create simple, steady change?

Book a StrongHer For Life 30 min Clarity Call.

The aim of this call is to get you crystal clear on what you want to achieve, the positive impact it will have on your life, and to explore how you can finally achieve this in a way that fits your life.

No pressure.
No hard sell.
Just clarity, direction, and a realistic next step.

There’s a lot of talk about New Year’s resolutions right now.

But here’s the reality most people don’t say out loud 👇

January is just as busy as every other month.

Work is full-on.
Family life doesn’t slow down.
And your diary is already crammed.

This is why so many people struggle to stick to their resolutions.

Not because they lack motivation or willpower, but because they try to ADD more into an already packed day.

More workouts.
More rules.
More pressure.

And when it doesn’t last, they’re left feeling flat, frustrated, and asking themselves:

“Why can’t I make this work?”

👉 The first step isn’t doing more.
👉 It’s deciding what you can stop.

Removing the daily habits, routines, or choices that aren’t serving you or your energy.

That’s what creates the space to start looking after yourself properly in a way that fits real life.

If you’re ready to build your health around your lifestyle (not against it) so you have:

More energy.
More confidence.
Feel more like you again.

Then my StrongHer For Life 6 Week ReEnergise Programme could be the right next step.

Let’s start with a 30-minute Discovery Call.

We’ll explore:

Where you are right now.
Where you want to get to.
What’s been getting in the way.

If it feels like the right fit for both of us, we’ll talk through the next steps

No pressure
No push.

Monday Inspiration

It’s that strange in-between time where you forget what day it is and routines feel a bit… optional.

And this is usually when the all-or-nothing mindset shows up.

“I’ll start properly in January.”

“I’ll get back on track next week.”

“I’ve blown it, so what’s the point?”

But real progress isn’t built on big restarts.

It’s built on stability.

Small, steady habits.

Simple choices.

Doing what you can... even when life feels a bit messy.

This week isn’t about being perfect.

It’s about staying gently connected to the habits that support you.

That’s how momentum is protected.

That’s how change actually sticks.

If you want support, structure, and a no-pressure space to stay consistent, come and join us inside the Find What Fits Community.

It’s a place for real people, real lives, and realistic habits that actually work.

January doesn’t need a reset.
It needs momentum.

This January, I’m keeping things deliberately simple.

No detoxes.
No extremes.
No all-or-nothing thinking.

Just three small daily actions to help you feel better, think clearer, and build consistency:

💧 1+ litre of water
🧘 1+ minute of box breathing
🚶 1+ mile walk (around 15–25 minutes)

That’s it.

These aren’t about fixing yourself or chasing quick results.
They’re about showing up, creating space, and letting momentum build naturally.

If you’d like to join me for the January Momentum Challenge, comment “I’m in” below 👇

I’ll invite you into the Find What Fits Community, where we’ll keep things simple with daily accountability and support throughout January.

Steady. Sustainable. Done together.

🎄 Merry Christmas 🎄

Christmas has a way of gently reminding us what actually matters.
Not the rushing.
Not the pressure.
Not the endless “to-do” lists.

But the people around your table.
The laughter in the room.
The quiet moments that refill your cup.

I hope today gives you space to breathe, to be present, and to enjoy the memories you’re making…even the imperfect, noisy, beautifully real ones.

Wishing you a peaceful and truly happy Christmas

22/12/2025

Christmas is a time to slow down, spend time with the people you love, have a bit of fun, and create memories that actually matter.

If you have a chance, I invite you to take a moment over the festive break to reflect on 2025.

What worked, what didn’t, and how you really felt along the way.

From there, think about your intentions for 2026.

Not big, unrealistic promises… just honest intentions about how you want to show up.

Those intentions can then be broken down into a simple, realistic plan of action.

One you can start implementing when you return to normal life in 2026.

If you’d like support with that, you’re welcome to book a discovery call with me.

We’ll have the time and space to map out a realistic plan that fits your life, your priorities, and where you are right now.
