Yesterday I had the absolute pleasure of meeting a beautiful parrot called Bubba 🦜💚

Bubba needed some gentle handling and lots of reassurance while we worked on a little nail clipping. With birds (and many pets!), trust and confidence are everything — so we took our time, used plenty of calm praise, and made the experience as positive as possible.

We also introduced a bit of clicker training, which is such a wonderful tool for helping animals feel safer and more in control. By pairing handling with positive rewards, Bubba can gradually become less shy, more relaxed, and much more cooperative for future maintenance care.

I was so proud of him — he tried so hard, and every small step forward is a big win when it comes to handling training 🥰✨ We had some lovely little chats together too. Such a sweet boy!

✨ Spiritual Guidance for Pet Owners

These past few days I feel called to share something very close to my heart…

Animals have always been my greatest teachers.

I believe our pets are not “just” companions — they are souls who walk beside us, mirrors of love, messengers of truth, and gentle guides through life’s many chapters.

Right now, I feel we are all being called to move forward with more awareness, to raise our vibrations, and to bring as much light and love as we can to the world around us.

And our animals are doing exactly that.

They are shining their lights so brightly, helping us remember what truly matters… teaching us presence, unconditional love, healing, and deeper connection.

Whether you share your life with a horse, dog, cat, hamster, or any beloved companion, every being has something to offer. When we truly listen, we honour their presence and express gratitude for the wisdom they bring.

Animals and nature are where my soul feels most aligned, and I know in these times, the world needs gentleness, understanding, and heart-led connection more than ever.

Today I popped in to clip this lovely girl’s nails… and completely forgot to take a photo while I was there 🙈

Thankfully, her mum has kindly sent me this gorgeous picture of Cedar at autumn time in the ferns. 💚

She is a beautiful golden retriever puppy — so gentle and kind. It is a pleasure to help keep her paws comfortable and tidy.
