Easter dates are up online for booking! I’m a little behind in getting these out- I somehow didn’t realise it was so early this year 🙈😅…
will be back in the garden Friday March 27th ready to take some photos of your little Easter bunnies and I will be running Half Tern Easter specials on Monday 30th March as usual with my lovely friend and forest school leader Fran. She’ll be tending to the fire toasting hot cross buns and I’ll be in the brew box serving you up the coffees and hot drinks to go with! Easter bunny trail and treat to take home as standard.
I’m also considering running an extended 2 hour Easter picnic play during the Easter holidays depending on demand so if you can’t make these dates keep your eyes peeled!
Easter is always a brilliant and most beautiful time for a play in the garden and we do tend to book up quickly once the word is out (I’m a bit late off the mark though so if you would help by sharing I’d be ever so thankful 🙏)

An Oobleck tray is always so fun to create, this one is all about the love, and there they go bull dozing it to bits, pure joy to let them explore, lost in play 😍. Magic!

Last ones standing at today’s play date! 🙋🏽‍♀️
These girls were living their best HGP life 🫶🏼 it always speaks volumes when the littles run off in the opposite direction to the gate at home time- eking out every second of play time 😍
Thanks to everyone who’s joined me in the garden this week for my first play dates of the year-so nice to be back and fully booked at that.
Next week there are a few spots left for my rescheduled Valentines play specials, Monday, Weds Friday. Love is on the menu at HGP ❤️. Who is coming to play?!

March dates are up online including an extra special Mother’s Day play! An extended 2 hour relaxed play to celebrate all my lovely HGP mums! Includes a free slice of cake and a treat for mum to take home, plus will also be with us to capture the memories.

What. A. Week. ☔️ ☔️☔️
Literally cannot believe how much it’s rained- it’s re-lent-less.
As you can see I’ve been out as much as I possibly can battling in the wet to prepare for re-opening. I’ve done as much as I possibly can, but sadly I have to admit defeat. There’s just no way I can run at the moment, the continuous rain has completely and utterly saturated the garden and with no dry spells in sight over the next few days I have no choice but to push back opening.
I am gutted to not be able to welcome you back next week, and Im so so sorry to all those who have booked on. Cancelling never sits well with me, I feel like I’m letting people down which I really hate and as well as this I’m taking a real hit income wise when I don’t open as planned. I feel rubbish about it but I have to remember that some things are out of my control.
I will be in touch with everyone who was booked on next week to re-arrange your play dates and am keeping an eye on the forecast for my half term dates so please do check your emails for an update if you’re booked on for those, I’m hoping the weather will sort itself out and play can resume ASAP! Thank you so much for your continued support and understanding. It means a lot to me and my little business ❤️

We love up cycling and reusing at HGP, I rarely buy new, choosing to be more sustainable by making use of what I have (from nature where possible!) and giving new life to things that would otherwise be sent to landfill. FB marketplace is also my best friend! 😆
If you are clearing out toys which your little is no longer engaging with we would love to give it new life here in the garden if it’s suitable.
Obviously not everything is useful for outdoor play so if you’re not sure just drop me a DM, always happy to collect locally. (Currently keeping my eye out for ride on toys as a few of ours have had their day!)

Inevitably in the garden things start needing replacing. If you’ve been here with me a while you’ll remember my original little boat creation. Unfortunately with all the wet weather we’ve been having the last few years it had finally had its day, so say hello to HGP boat take 2! I always prefer to use what I have rather than buy new wherever I can- it’s amazing what you can create with a pile of wood, some power tools and a little imagination. 💪🏼
I’ve a few more things to fix up in the garden next week and then I’m super excited to welcome you back on Monday 9th Feb with my reopening week of Valentines specials! Some spots left, who’s coming to play?! Xx
