I believe that you have to look after yourself first in order to be able to look after those you love, HOWEVER finding time to yourself can be really hard with a newborn (and possibly older children) around.
So this class gives you the chance to do something for you by bringing babe along to enjoy your yoga practice too!
Here’s what you can expect from the class:
❤️ First and foremost a safe, nourishing space where you can come exactly as you are to relax, re-energise and feel supported
💜 Sequences to build strength, particularly in those areas that have become weaker during pregnancy
🧡 Postures to protect against or release discomfort from the repetitive movements of ‘mum life’ (e.g. bending, lifting, sitting with poor posture for feeding etc)
💛 Dedicated time to breathe, move, relax and bond with babe
💚 Connect and share with other new mums and their little ones
💙 Relaxation, breath work and meditation to quiet the mind and soothe the central nervous system
🩷 Readings, meditations, poems usually from my absolute fave
Suitable for beginners or experienced yogis, from 6 weeks postpartum for vaginal births and caesarian section births or once you have had the all clear to exercise from your GP or women’s health expert. This class is suitable for babes who are pre-crawling.
