This National Activity Providers and Professionals Week, we would like to show our appreciation for our exceptional activity providers, who work hard to organise and lead exciting and engaging activities for our residents.

Our activity coordinators are great at getting to know our residents and providing activities that are tailored towards their individual interests, ensuring everybody has the opportunity to do what they love.

Here at Porthaven Care Homes, we are proud to support Brew Monday 🍵

We know how important it is to stay connected with those we care about, so every day at 3pm our team members pause what they are doing to spend one-on-one time with our residents. Whether going for a walk in the garden, playing a game of chess or enjoying a simple cup of tea, these moments of connection are beneficial for everybody.

At Porthaven, our homes are open to all, so if you are ever in the area, why not pop in and enjoy a brew with our team or residents? You will always receive a warm welcome! 👋🏻

We had an amazing karate class with our friends from Harpenden JKA Karate Club over the weekend! 🥋⭐

The team has created an inspiring and inclusive programme for all ages and abilities, building flexibility, balance, and coordination while boosting confidence, focus, and overall wellbeing.

The energy in the room was incredible, and we’re so excited to continue our new monthly Saturday sessions in the new year!😄👀
