Here at Porthaven Care Homes, we are thrilled to announce that we are partnering with Bloom Care Solutions to bring bespoke day care centres to a selection of our homes, starting with Avondale Care Home, Aylesbury.
Bloom are on a mission to combat social isolation and provide regular safe spaces within communities, which is why, during their weekly day service, Bloom’s qualified care team provide a person-centred experience, which includes engaging activities, a midday meal and dedicated care. As Bloom’s team are made up of qualified care providers, their day centres are open to all, meaning nobody is denied the chance to socialise, take part in activities tailored to their interests and enjoy time out and about in our homes.
Bloom’s day care centres are also a great opportunity for our residents to meet new people and try something new. While Bloom run the centres with their own team members, our residents are always welcome and encouraged to join in with any activities on offer, making this a true partnership.
We will be hosting a launch event at Avondale Care Home in Aylesbury next Friday. The event is open to all and will run from 11am to 3pm, with a complimentary buffet lunch provided for all in attendance.
