🎄 A Gentle Christmas Reminder

As Christmas approaches, here’s your permission to slow things down and create space to recharge so you can enjoy it too!

✨ Let go of the shoulds
Christmas doesn’t need to look a certain way to be meaningful.

✨ Do less
not everything needs your energy right now.

✨ Protect your boundaries
rest is allowed, even if you’ve “done nothing”.

✨ Choose presence over perfection
Pj’s or joggers are fine, nothing needs to be perfect…think 70% effort which is more than enough.

This season isn’t about ‘doing more’… it’s about being a little kinder to yourself and being able to enjoy time with your family 💛

👉 If this resonated, drop a ❤️ and save it for later — especially for those moments when Christmas may feel a bit too much.

✨ Most of us were never taught how to release anger. Instead, we were most likely told to “calm down,” “be good,” or “keep the peace.”

So, we learnt to push it down.

But as Gabor Màte reminds us, the truth is, when anger is trapped inside, it shows up in other, unhealthy and destructive ways — headaches, tension, anxiety, exhaustion, and very often through illness.

🌿 Anger itself isn’t the problem.
It’s simply energy, asking to be moved.

The healing comes when we release it safely.

Here are 7 healthy ways to let anger move through you:

1. Talk it through – with a trusted friend, coach, or therapist. Naming it often softens its grip.

2. Pause & breathe – slow your breath to bring your nervous system back to balance.

3. Move your body – walk, dance, run, or shake it out.

4. Write it down – journaling can help you release bottled-up thoughts.

5. Sound it out – sigh, hum, sing, or scream into a pillow.

6. Creative release – paint, drum, doodle, or play music.

7. Set boundaries – notice where anger signals that a line has been crossed.

💬 Anger doesn’t make you “bad.” It makes you human. The freedom comes when we let it flow, release it and not allow it to build up and fester.

What’s one healthy way you’ve learnt to release anger?
