During 2025 we worked with more young people than tourists. We are super happy about that. Our priority will always be the young people of the Western Isles and wider areas.

The tourist trade does give us much needed income, to keep the centre going.

During the 2026 season, we will be offering tourist whale watching trips and island tours and crossings. We are hoping to give visitors/tourists a once in a lifetime experience. These tours will be around four hours, and will include a picnic on a remote beach.

We can also offer expeditions to places like the Shiants.

All trips will need to be booked in advance.

Locals, please remember you get a 30% discount.

Please keep supporting the centre.

To the youth clubs and groups; please get in touch to book activities before we open up the calendar to other parties. Scaladale is fully operational and we only have a few gaps in the calendar during June, July and August.
