Lunar Eclipse Musings

This week has been one of a kind, one of those where just when you think things can’t get any crazier the Universe says hold my pint!

Why am I sharing this at a time when the world has gone mad? Well I guess to share that when things get crazy your guises step up, the messages and insights get stronger and all they ask is that you listen and take note.

My crazy week started last Wednesday with my crow friend throwing a rock at me (his aim was as almost perfect 😳), what I thought at first was a rose quartz turned out on cleaning to be a sunstone. Curious I thought, wonder why I need that.

Thursday I was gifted a reading by someone I’ve never met and what came through was that I needed to go be in reverent ritual to complete the birthing of the new me, to see the last hidden part and combine all the elements. Hmm, as a seer I’m owning I completely missed that well hidden last bit. Even more curious.

Mercury went retrograde - nuff said!

Then yesterday! Oh yes the lunar eclipse in Virgo, knew this was a big one so cleared the decks for guidance. This Virgo stellium soul waited & of course the ritual mentioned in my reading came in. Time to take my red deer drum, some offerings (you know the sunstone found its home) and some cleansing herbs out to a gorgeous space and do the work. A Deep ancestral presence stood waiting, my stag medicine woman awaited and with utmost respect and reverence it was done.

And after that came the need to plant, to sow and pot up in the sun, to tend the earth, quietly, peacefully and solo. Letting the earth wield its magic, my hands in the soil, sowing the summers flowers under a full moon as she rose in the sky.

The universe will always provide compassion, hope, grounding and perspective when you need it. If you’re feeling wrung out, afraid, angry or otherwise get outdoors, be in nature, seek out the wisdom of the earth. And don’t forget to look up at the stars, Jupiter’s clearly visible at the moment. It might just give you the answers you need.

🔥🔥 energies abound today 🧡

It’s hold on to your hats day with a whole heap of shifts and transformative energies - an annular solar eclipse new moon in Aquarius (big enough on its own as it’s at the end of Aquarius) plus the start of the Saturn/Neptune conjunction at 0 of Aries (this really impacts on Thursday) and then Neptune has entered the mix squaring the eclipse in Ta**us.

These energies are felt again in July/August when the North Node (gate/destiny) moves into Aquarius and triggers this eclipse point.

These energies are fast, zingy, exciting, impactful and as it’s an eclipse at times unexpected. Welcome any changes, use those fixed air talents to see things from a higher perspective, know that this is a great time for humanity and you personally to shift and grow.

Added to which we move from a snake to a magnificent energetic fire horse year today, we’re done with the shedding, it’s time to enjoy some freedom, some energy and to embrace change and new directions Lent and Ramadan start now too so breathe, stop, and breathe again (or alternatively just hibernate till the energies settle 🤣).

Goddess energies abound today with the gift of a warm, sunny day to mark the halfway point between the seasons, Mother Earth is stirring, there’s a stunning Leo full moon rising too. A blessed day to be out in nature watching nuthatches, long- tailed t**s and a bit of snowdrop spotting 💚

Goodbye 2025, Welcome 2026

As 2025 whispered its last goodbyes one of my favourite star clusters the Seven Sisters (Pleiades) met the almost full moon, a magical conjunction which made me ponder on the meaning of both at the dawning of a new year.

The moon symbolises our emotions, the divine feminine and a reminder to do the inner, reflective work without fear. The Seven Sisters were the daughters of Atlas and Pleione in Greek mythology and represent sisterhood and support. (As an aside if you’ve read the books by Lucinda Riley you’ll get the magic of the Pleiades, if you haven’t this is your prompt to curl up with a coffee and a series of really good books).

We need each other for so much more than support. Even more so in the crazy times we live in. If you’ve been in my life you’ll know recent years have been very much my ‘hermit’ years - going deep within to do shadow work, healing deep hurts and shedding whilst discovering who I am now at this stage in life. It took time, it took a lot of work, it needed a shed load of solitude. And support in the form of acceptance from friends & loved ones for which I’m eternally grateful.

So to every woman (& tbf man) who has supported, patiently waited, listened and held my personal journey you are the sisters in my sky, to every client who has shown trust and chosen to work with me, especially as this inner work took place I thank you. Without you all none of this would be possible. My work means the world to me, my clients are a gift, the stories shared, the shifts experienced, the emotions you so rawly and willingly bring to our sessions mean everything. So from my heart to your thank you, may 2026 bring you abundant blessings, love, laughter and memories to treasure.

2026 has some large planets moving position, shifts and movement are highlighted, the fire horse & the power of a number 1 year indicate swift actions. And so too changes are incoming here. Can’t wait to share the new name, brand and offerings that have, finally, settled.

Even when Nature sleeps the power of the Earth is there, deep, dark and silent but no less strong.

So too is the power within you when resting. Silence can signal great strength, rest is a preparation. Darkness is the gift of understanding.

Equinox Blessings

As we shift into the fiery powerhouse that is Aries season, we also move into a beautiful new astrological new year.

The sun and moon share light and dark equally, Mother Nature is busy with growth and creation and it’s a chance for us to also create. What seeds do you want to plant to bring your dreams into reality? What steps can you take to start the process?

Today has been a day of blessings, an early walk saw a heron fly overhead - thanking the universe for that message 💚, later a couple of buzzards slowly circled overhead enjoying the warmth of a beautiful spring day, and our last walk was filled with the sound of Curlews. Nature is filled with so much magic, messages and reminders.

As the last full moon of 2024 rises, illuminating the night, casting light onto shadows, its beams reaching far into the corners of your soul take some time to ponder.

Full moons are a time to let go, express gratitude and forgive. This one rises in Gemini opposing the Sun in Sagittarius. And in the day when Mercury, thankfully, goes direct again.

Where do you find yourself as we approach mid point of this last month of 2024? Are you happy with how it worked out? Are you celebrating your successes no matter how big or small they appear?

Let’s face it 2024 has been a tough year for a lot of souls. It’s tested, challenged, pushed and tugged us out of our comfort zones, made us face realities and, on some levels, rise into spiritual maturity.

Try find some space to work with the energy of this moon, it’s not the most powerful moon we’ve had this year but it might just be the one that concludes the year for you.

What are you grateful for as we move towards a new year with all its incoming shifts and plans?

What has 2024 shown you that you would be best served to let go of, what can you release that will help you going forwards?

What or who could you forgive? Are there things you’ve done or not done that you need to forgive yourself for? Remember we’re all here just doing the best we can at each moment in time. Don’t be so hard on yourself, you didn’t come here to be perfect.

Reflect, ponder, travel back over the last 12 months and you might be pleasantly surprised at how much you’ve grown, what you’ve achieved without realising it and how far you’ve come.

Blessed Scorpio New Moon Energies

If you know me you know I’m a complete Moon nut! At whatever stage it’s it. But I do love a new moon, a chance to reset, to go within, reflect, ask some questions about who I am, what direction I’m heading in etc.

And a Scorpio new moon just begs us to go deep, to look at where and how we can transform. And as someone who has St Germain and Archangel Zadkiel overseeing this lifetime it’s just the perfect opportunity to work with the energy of transmutation.

But honestly, whoever you work with, whatever your purpose here is a new moon invites change, new beginnings and a chance to set some focused and purposeful intentions or visions. The next few weeks support you to then do the work.

This new moon comes straight after Samhain when the veil between dimensions is still thin. Not long after Pluto makes its final shift into Aquarius, another new start and concluding those cycles that began in 2008. Notice what’s shifting for you, what’s ending and where you feel pulled to begin something new.

And don’t avoid the difficult questions, Scorpio can challenge us, it’s not afraid to ask the tough, uncomfortable questions. Don’t be afraid to get down and comfortable with your shadow side. Where are you self sabotaging? How can you get out of your own way and dare to press Go?

Trust yourself, you’ve got this.

Samhain Blessings Witches 🌙

Of all the days of the wheel Samhain has always held a special magic for me. Maybe it’s because the ancestors seem closer, maybe it’s simply that my analytical side can fly off and let my magical side reign - who knows, who even cares, I just adore it.
