New project on my hoooooook 😁 I’ve been playing around with hexis again, I wanted to try and make a granny version of my Solid Flexi Hexi Longline Cardi after I got this lovely comment on my Granny Flexi Hexi Longline Cardi:

That came out nice! It looks free of distracting extra horizontal rows to add length, too. I’ll have to check it out! 👍 ... I looked at your Ravelry page and I think it’s quite ingenious, well done. I won’t be making cardigans with horizontal stripes around the hips and thighs in this lifetime (sigh) but if I did, this is the one I would make.

🌟 Now I wonder whether it would be possible to make a “half hexi” cardigan with stripes that go vertically to the hem. Some people are never satisfied, right? 😉

This beautiful yarn has been looking at me for the last couple of weeks while I have been trying to get another project finished, but I caved today! 😁 I just wanted some relaxing making time and my Here Comes the Sun pattern was perfect 😍

I bought this gorgeous yarn at last year from the beautiful Jess it’s called Coleus and it’s just gorgeous, making me think of spring flowers 🌸

Seeing all the posts from Jo is making me remember what a lovely time we had there last year! Unfortunately we can’t make it this year but they have a brilliant line up, I will definitely have a bit of fomo 🤣

Did you know that all of my cardigans are made using the Hexi method? I find this such a fun and easy way of constructing them- making them perfect for colour changing yarn and reducing ends 👏 also for me one of the biggest plus points- no sewing!! I crochet the whole thing 🙌🧶

Here you can see my longline extended hexagons from my Solid Flexi Hexi Longline Cardi just before they are joined.

This design puts a fresh twist on the classic hexi cardi, starting with an elongated hexagon so you can crochet both halves continuously- no extra rows needed!

This makes it much easier to work with colour-changing yarn while keeping a sleek, streamlined look, with no horizontal lines across the bottom.

The pattern includes 11 lengths and five sizes!!

Over the weekend, I finally got to start the 'Here comes the sun' scarf by MeluCrochet , this stunning pattern by Melanie has been on my wishlist for ages!

I've had a few balls of Wollbiene Batik sat in my crochet box waiting to be used, and this pattern was the perfect opportunity for this yarn! It's a chunky yarn so I decided to go for a six 6 hook and it's working up beautifully!
