Are you a new Mama?

Did you know that there are wonderful classes for new Mama's that teach wellbeing and mindfulness techniques? The classes are 5 weekly sessions, run in both Harrogate (run by me) and Ripon (run by the other lovely Jo, founder of Mama's Matter CIC) and are free to all new Mamas!

At Mama's Matter we also run drop in sessions in Ripon and Knaresborough - and are hoping to start one in Harrogate really soon. Its been a very busy few weeks here at HMW, and just like work babies Melody and Smarty, I'm in need of a few days rest!
Thank you to my powerhouse client who trusted me to be a part of her birth experience - I am truly honoured to have witnessed your journey to parenthood 💫💫💫 Your strength and resolve was incredible and I am completely in awe of you.
Now to rest for the weekend 😴 (if only it was that easy with an 8 year old!!)

A 2024 parliamentary birth trauma inquiry recommended a Maternity Commissioner be appointed alongside a National Maternity Strategy to ensure mums and their babies were safe and looked after with professionalism and compassion.
