Isabelle draws on elements of Hatha, Yin and Vinyasa Yoga to create a dynamic flowing style, harmonizing breath & movement to rebalance, strengthen, energise and relax the body & mind. You will be carefully instructed into the poses and adjusted and supported in each posture. More challenging options are offered to those who have been practicing for some time so that everyone develops at their own pace. As you are guided mindfully through the poses with the breath, Isabelle's intention is for you to reconnect with yourself and to experience a magical energy and release. This grounding, self exploration should leave you feeling uplifted and empowered both on the mat and in your life more generally. Come and soak up the zen vibes and enjoy our wonderful

You are cordially invited to meet me on the mat for an evening of delicious, meditative yin yoga & breath work followed by a deeply healing sound journey.

An opportunity to pause and reset your rhythm, get back in sync with nature and to rebalance this Summer.

You can opt to experience the resonance of the Tibetan bowl on your body as part of our sound healing when you are bathed in sound. Sound healing is a powerful antidote to our modern day, stressed out lifestyles where our nervous system tends to be disregulated.

Experiencing the therapeutic vibrations of Tibetan Bowl Therapy adds another level of deep sound resonance affecting calm and overall wellbeing.

This ancient healing modality utilises deep vibrations and soothing sounds to bring relief from stress-related ailments or conditions.

Breath work, guided meditation & sound healing will be interwoven throughout the evening.

This super-nourishing event is aimed at uprooting and melting away deep layers of stress. We are living in a pandemic of stress and over-stimulation.

Yoga and Sound Healing offer a powerful tonic for curtailing the relentless mental chatter and compulsive thinking.

Just said goodbye to my baby girl as she goes off for the week on her first school trip.

There will be no contact.

This is new for both of us!

Feeling nostalgic and grateful for these milestones as life unfolds with all its twists and turns.

And in the background the yoga which keeps me grounded and at peace.

I wont be worried or lost without her, I’ll just trust that this is what she needs and that I have given her the tools to calm and balance herself when I’m not there. And while she’s gone luxuriate in my practice, my garden and my work which brings me joy.

Yin yoga offers the perfect space to pause, soften, and reset.

By holding postures for several minutes with deep, intentional breaths, yin yoga activates the parasympathetic nervous system, signaling to the body that it’s safe to relax. This gentle practice soothes stress, melts away tension, and creates the stillness needed for mindfulness to flourish.

With each long-held pose, we cultivate patience and awareness—laying the foundation for meditation and a deeper connection to the present moment. As nature awakens, let’s embrace the balance of movement and stillness, effort and ease.

Breathe deeply. Stretch gently. Stay present.

Most classes are now full for the new Spring yoga term but Friday 1.30pm Yin Yoga has space. (Also Saturday’s 11am for Hatha Yoga)

In class this week, we’ve been diving deep into awareness - awareness of sensation, awareness of breath, and awareness of the present moment. Why? Because practicing awareness and mindfulness isn’t just about relaxation—it actually changes the brain and supports our health in powerful ways.

When we practise mindfulness, we strengthen the prefrontal cortex, the part of the brain responsible for self-regulation, focus, and emotional balance. We also calm the amygdala, reducing stress and anxiety. This shift helps regulate our nervous system, lowers inflammation, and even boosts immune function—keeping us healthier and more resilient against illness and disease.

By simply tuning into our breath and bodily sensations, we train ourselves to respond rather than react, to find calm in chaos, and to cultivate inner strength and well-being.

Friday 1.30pm yin has space and Saturday 11am if you’d like to join us this week.
