Super proud of The Oakleaf Team who scooped the Win for 'Complex Care Award' at the Stars of Social Care Awards on Saturday 21st June 2025 in London. Our fantastic Director Kathy Swannell (right) was also 'Highly Commended' in the Outstanding Director Award.
Fabulous night and great to be recognised for the achievements of the team.

WOW......The Oakleaf Team have been nominated for 3 awards! We are super excited and so very proud of the hard work and dedication of the staff.
We have been nominated as Finalists in the Great British Care Awards 2022 for "Care Team", Finalists for 'Specialist Care' in the Laing Buisson Awards 2022 and our Clinical and Operations Director Kathy Swannell has been nominated as a Finalist for "Lifetime Achievement in Care by the National Care Awards 2022.
Wish us luck! We will know later in the year if we win.

Stroke Rehabilitation at The Oakleaf Group

Resulting from our continued success of working with stroke survivors, The Oakleaf Group has developed a specialist 10 week active rehabilitation programme (implemented at at our Hartwell, Northampton and Suffolk services) providing a range of physical, psychological, cognitive, behavioural, emotional and communicative support needs resulting from a haemorrhage or ischemic stroke.

It is common for the NHS frontline to experience difficulties during the winter period, as demand for services increases significantly with the onset of cold weather and flu, however with the announcement of the new national lockdown it is likely to place the NHS under severe pressure.

The Oakleaf Group is committed to prioritising admissions of individuals receiving treatment on acute wards, who no longer require acute care and treatment - for example acute stroke and neuro rehab wards, Level 1/2a tertiary specialist rehab services for category A needs, Level 2b secondary rehab for category B needs and major trauma units (not exhaustive).

Our range of services across ten locations include:

Active Rehabilitation
High dependency & specialist complex nursing care
Management of progressive neurological conditions
