Our Coaches:
Lewis Catt: Lewis first discovered his interests in sports and fitness from the age of 10 when he trained in the martial arts. Throughout his teenage years, he continued to train in the martial arts, sports and athletics where he then went on to study at Hastings College to become a qualified personal trainer and sports therapist. Lewis has also worked as a Sports Activities coach wi
th Active Hastings where he delivered seasonal workshops to children of all ages. He is now currently running his own Sports Massage clinic in Ivyhouse lane, where he also offers Personal Training to his clients. Tom Roche: Tom comes from a Street Dance background and founded the Hastings based Street Dance school ‘TTA’. His skills and experience of teaching dance by engaging children through their imagination, combined with his hobby of cardio based fitness, is what draws him to the team. Alongside dance Tom has always had a passion for fitness, in particular running. After running the Hastings half marathon and surviving the dangers of ‘Tough Mudder’, he is currently training for the Kent Roadrunner Marathon 2017. He has also delivered Circuit.Training classes to children of all ages for SYL (A London based sports company for school children). Jade Sargent: With her roots also based in dance, Jade has worked alongside Tom during the days of TTA as a dance teacher, choreographer and fitness coach. She has always treated fitness as a way of life rather than just a hobby and embraces independent motivation by training 4 days a week to keep herself in shape. Jade has survived the ‘Spartan Race’, ‘Tough Mudder’, completed the ‘Three Peaks’ challenge and competed in many of the local semi-long distance races and this year ran her first Hastings Half Marathon. After realising that she has a talent and love of working with children, Jade is now studying to be a primary school teacher.
