I hope this year you choose to follow your heart and that it leads you somewhere as beautiful as mine did💗💫

This was taken in Nicaragua 2021 at my YTT. I didn’t want to study there. I was sure I should do the training in Greece, as it was safe and convenient with all the pandemic travel restrictions that were in place. But that was the point, safety and convenience don’t help you to grow.

Greece training got cancelled and the universe forced me out my comfort zone and presented me with the choice to either give up my dream & settle for less, or take a risk, put my fears aside and follow my heart and intuition.
Most people told me to just wait till next year/ till the pandemic is over (lol), do it in the UK etc. There were so many things that could of gone wrong, but thanks to encouragement from my best friend & Lauren the course leader, I decided the latter and had a completely transformational month in a beautiful country I never even imagined I’d visit.

If anyone is interested in yoga teacher training I cannot recommend highly enough. It was one of the best and most valuable experiences I’ve ever had. And what’s so nice is that little group of yogis, both teachers and students still message regularly and support each other to this day! 🙌🏼💗

So I guess the whole point of this post is to be brave! It can lead to beautiful places for both inner and outer worlds🧘🏽‍♀️💫

Mood to kickstart 2022! 💫💪🏼

I thought up this mantra a while ago during a yoga practice and now use it every day (when I shower, at the end I always turn it to cold & repeating this helps to get me through 🤣) but I also use it when in savasana (co**se pose) at the end of a yoga session. It is something that resonates deeply with me as I made it based on insecurities I was facing, and it has made a big difference in my life.

If you feel like this resonates with you too I would love for you to adopt it into your routine and see how it shifts your mindset, my gift to you 🤗 Or think of something else that feels personal, and right for you, something your insecurities stem from and instead make it become your strength.

Mantras or positive affirmations are a big part of spiritual practice. It is said repeating mantras brings you closer to god, and you are a reflection of god, so closer to your true self…✨

✨A little reminder…✨that life is beautiful and complex. Without the bad days you would have no context for good days and your highs wouldn’t be so high. Life flows like the seasons…& maybe this isn’t your season, but if you surrender to what you need now, know that you will come back all the more stronger and joyful when it is. The one guarantee in life is change which can bring hope and sadness in equal measure. Everything is transient, which is beautiful when you think about it✨ This is an example of thoughts I wake up with 😅😅 I hope you have a great weekend! 💗

A question I ask myself every morning. It’s a great habit to turn inwards and listen to your inner state. Whatever the answer is, remember to be kind and patient with yourself. You don’t need all the answers and off days are normal. Acknowledge your feelings, and then consciously make time to do something that nurtures you. 💫Reminder: You are worth the time and effort that you give to others💕

As you think, so you become. ✨Meditation✨

This is not something that comes naturally for me😅 I am an overthinker and my brain is often difficult to settle and relax. But when I am able to push through the chatter and become the observer, I always notice the difference it has. It’s like waking up from a great night’s sleep! 🙌🏼

Meditation has been around for thousands of years! It is not associated with any religion and is a great tool to find calmness, disassociate with negative thought patterns and recreate positive ones. It also has many scientifically proven benefits and zero negative side effects!

▫️counteracts stress hormones and calms the mind and body
▫️Lowers blood pressure and relieves pain, tension and headaches
▫️Improves clarity, memory, intuition and focus
▫️Improves emotional and mental stability and increases resistance to future stress
▫️Allows for a deeper self awareness and a greatly improved relationship with self
▫️Creates new neural pathways, meaning you can alter mental patterns and behaviours and create a new way to think and feel.

There are so many forms of meditation, but to get started simply:
1. Sit comfortably
2. Steady the breath
3. Draw your attention to the present and become an observer of your thoughts.

Let any thoughts pass through, remain unattached to them and gently refocus on the present each time. Coming back to the breath to centre yourself. It will take time and can feel frustrating at times, but like with anything, the more you do it, the better you will become.

Hello! ✨
I’m so excited to share my new yoga business with you and to finally see a dream of mine come to life. Welcome to The Flow!

Yoga has been transformative to my life in many ways. When I have felt lost, I have found calmness and clarity. When I have felt unfit I have found movement, strength and vitality. When I have felt in my ego I have found self awareness and compassion. It is a magic that can literally change your life and I am so happy to be able to share it with others.

I hope The Flow will become a place where you can make connections, feel stronger, reset, refresh and become more in tune with yourself. And obviously fall in love with yoga! 🤗

I am such a perfectionist. At times its debilitating 😅 My mind is always analysing, looking for flaws and how things could be better. But learning to let go, accept and trust is something I’m working on.
I have wanted to work for myself for the longest time. Over the years I have thought up multiple business ideas that would have likely been feasible but I have always talked myself out of them. Paralysed by procrastination = Fears and insecurities holding me back.
This one is different. It still feels scary but I decided to stop listening to my fear and do it anyway. It’s empowering.
You will surprise yourself at how capable you are and how life actually looks out for you, when you stop limiting yourself! The other side of your comfort zone is where all the growth is, be brave and grow💕 🎨beautiful illustration by
