This group is run by our SCBU and our Out Reach team Nursery Nurses.

🧡THIS THURSDAY 🧡. Special Care Baby Unit Support Group. Open to all babies that have used the SCBU Conquest Hospital Hastings and their parents / carers. Run by SCBU’s Nursery Nurses / Outreach Team. Have your baby weighed , Ask questions if you need and meet other parents / babies. The East Sussex MNVP will be there for the first part of you would like to feedback on your maternity and/or neonatal experience. Also this week they will also have the lovely Emma from Little One Snug - Hastings Sling Library / Babywearing Consultancy will be there to give support and answer questions on all things baby wearing focusing on low weight babies. 🪴💛🧡

A huge thank you to Brewers decorative centers, in particular the Hastings store. For kindly donating £200 worth of paint and supplies so we can redecorate our parent rooming in rooms and make them more homely for our families whilst they are staying on the unit

Brilliant news for all our families

We're delighted that Tesco and Pampers have partnered to give free nappies to parents of premature babies.

Around 60% of twin pregnancies result in birth before 37 weeks (spontaneous or induced) and around 75% of triplet pregnancies before 35 weeks.

The nappies are available from all Tesco Pharmacies.

All our clinics are completely free and open to every family in our community. Whether you’re breastfeeding, combination feeding, expressing, or navigating challenges, we’re here with 1-1 tailored support.

An update from Eastbourne breast mates 💜

💜 An Update from Eastbourne Breast Mates 💜

We’re sad to share that we’ll be closing Eastbourne Breast Mates and our last session will be on Monday 15th September. This hasn’t been an easy decision, but it allows us to prioritise our limited funding towards what’s most needed right now – home visits from our Lactation Consultants, giving families personalised support in those crucial early days.

We know that Eastbourne families are still well supported, with wonderful options through the NHS groups and , so no one will be left without a place to turn.
