Are any DJs/ musicians free on boxing day evening for a set at the pig?

We are holding a community support event with free food.

We're hoping to find people who would be happy to play for free if possible.

We know it's a big ask!

We are a volunteer lead project.
The event is free entry.

We are aiming to provide a warm
And welcoming environment for people in the community that need it the most.

People who maybe be alone this time of year and suffering the effects of isolation.

The Severe Weather Emergency Provision (SWEP) has been activated in Hastings.

The council has been working with Warming Up The Homeless to provide a place of overnight safety for rough sleepers during the severe weather.

The overnight centre is at Gizmo House, 23 Priory Street, Hastings, TN34 1EA (opposite Domino’s Pizza). Contact numbers: 07367 060708 / 07731 998878.

The centre will provide dorm style beds with freshly laundered pillows and duvets. Space is available for those who need a quieter room.

Warming Up The Homeless have confirmed that:

• People with pets are welcome

• Three hot meals a day will be provided at no cost

• People can access free shower facilities

• People can access free laundry facilities

• Last entry 10pm.

People do not need to approach the council in order to access this SWEP provision. However, if anyone has any queries regarding this provision outside of office hours, the out of hours team can be contacted on 01424 451999.

We are continuing to offer support to rough sleepers this winter, including support to find a longer-term home. If you are concerned about someone who is rough sleeping, let us know at StreetLink -
