Working from home? Its been a struggle for many. Some are looking forward to getting back to the office, others will continue to spend at least some time of the week working from home in the next few months.
Over the past 2 years since Covid changes began, there has been a real struggle with poor desk set ups from home, sitting longer hours, feeling more isolated and becoming less active during the working day.
In clinic I have seen lots of lower back pains, neck and shoulder issues from looking at screens all day and poor ergonomic set ups and lots of niggles and injuries for patients who are trying to get active but finding transitioning from the desk all day to activity is causing problems.
So today set an alarm to get you moving every 40 minutes, try to stand up to take phone calls rather than sitting and try to get outside for some fresh air if you can. Your body will thank you for it!
