We are proud to be partnering up with Conservation 50 and St Peter's Church in St Albans for the restoration of Nathaniel Cotton's memorial. Nathaniel Cotton was an 18th-century poet and a doctor, who was a pioneer in the treatment of mental health. Conservation 50 and St Peter's Church are hosting a series of talks exploring evolutionary and cultural constructs of mental illness, to find out more have a look at their website: https://timboatswain.wixsite.com/conservation-50

Balmoral Red
Balmoral Red granite has a deep red base with fine blue, black and grey flecks. Due to the deep red of the stone, it lends itself to inscriptions finished in gold.

Indian Juparana
India Juparana is a pinky beige-based granite, featuring black, grey, and brown specks which vary in shape and size creating different patterns, but most commonly creating a wave like effect in the stone.

Ruby Red
Similar to Balmoral, Ruby Red Granite comes in a rich red but due to its medium grain black and grey speckles, it gives it a much deeper, almost burgundy colouration.

Paradiso
Paradiso has gravelled charcoal, purple-pink and black hue present through the stone. This combined with some white swirls creates a wave like effect in the stone such as is seen in Indian Juparana. Given its more muted colour, it lends itself to inscriptions finished in silver.
